“Eastwoods 2012”

This place certainly lived up to its name! Mike and Jody were there to greet us when we arrived! Lovely people and the place is just like no other, home from home relaxing place to either switch off and enjoy the lovely orchard and the outdoor jet pool spa, watching the deer roam around. Every need was catered for, we stayed for 2 nights and nothing was too much trouble, lots of snacks etc left in the room and the breakfast in the beautiufl orchard area was AMAZING! Mike's suprise waffles with Blueberry's were a real treat along with a lovely cooked breakfast, juices and cereal! We were set for the day! The B&B is close to enjoy the wonderful delights of Yosemite NP and there are plenty of fantastic restaurants in Oakhurst close by - The Sweet Water Steakhouse on the main stretch! WOW one of the best steaks in the US! All in all a superb end to our US road trip! Thankyou and if we are in the area again! We will be back!

A Haven of Rest B & B is exactly that, providing a great place to stay for visiting Yosemite NP.The hot spa is a perfect finale after a day's hiking in the park and Mike and Jody go that extra mile to ensure your stay is both comfortable and memorable.

“Felt like home”

We spent 3 nights in that B&B and loved it. The rooms, as observed already by many others, are spacious, clean and include everything you need.
The breakfast was unsurpassed by any other that we enjoyed during our 4 weeks in the USA. They served it on the porch. If you get lucky a deer or a doe will pay a visit while you are sitting there. We got lucky.
Jody and Mike go out of their way to help you, but in a very unobtrusive manner. For example, they picked us up on Highway 41 as we didn't find our way to their house. And because we were a bit worried about the Hanta Virus they called the park rangers for an update on the situation.
Oakhurst is 20 miles from Yosemite's border. But it's only a 60 minutes ride to the heart of the park - even if you're in for a long hike you will get there early enough.
Should we ever visit Yosemite Park again we will most certainly put up at Haven of Rest.

“Charming”

We stayed at. Haven on our way to Yosemite,a great little spot near to the south entrance of the park.Jody gave us a warm welcome had the spa ready and we were made to feel at home .There was plenty of info on local eateries and nothing was too much trouble.The garden is very peaceful with quirky little touches and plenty of birds ,would definitely stay again if we come back to California ,

“Quiet and comfortable”

My wife and I found Mike and Jody exceeded our expectations. We found them online, and the prior reviews were right on. We experienced very personal attention, wonderful food and great advice on visiting Yosemite. The room and furnishings were better than any 4 star hotel we have visited. We kept mentioning where we were staying while in the park, and everyone came up to my wife and wanted to know where we found such a wonderful place to stay. When we return to Yosemite, we will look for Mike and Jody first!
