It is a little bit old fashioned, but it didn´t disturb us. The rooms were spacious with a small kitchen table top, separate sink from the bathroom.
Also we had actual keys, instead of keycards. Our airconditioning was really noisy.
Breakfast was in an old hotelroom. It was good, but we missed the cheese and turkey or ham. We liked the free 24hr coffee in the lobby.

My wife and I arrived at this hotel after a terrible experience in Hotel Astoria in San Francisco. We were desperately hoping that this hotel would turn out to be different and had our hopes answered from the first step into the lobby.

The lobby was spacious, clean and comfortable. The night staff, Norma, was extremely helpful in getting us settled in.

The room was Heaven after our nightmare in San Francisco. Large, spacious and very clean. Bathtub, microwave oven, cable tv, and big enough to have a kitchen and living room in the room!! Internet Wi-Fi connection was strong and fast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic too. Cereal, wafers, muffins, toast, eggs, fruits, juices, coffee, tea all available for your selection. There is even a coin operated laundry room for guest to wash their clothes without leaving the comfort of the Hotel.

There was a fitness room and pool which we didn't get to use as it was too cold outside for swimming and we were too sore from hiking to exercise anymore.

The only downside would be the location. Located just outside the south gate of Yosemite, the 1 hour plus drive into the park on winding roads was fine during the day but a daunting drive back as it gets dark.

Still, the service and facilities make up for any hassles on the drive. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anybody looking for accommodation around Yosemite.

Our family had a wondeful stay here. Girls enjoyed the pool and spa area, and hubby and I made use of the fitness room - right by the pool area. Wondeful breakfast offering - the best that we had during our 3 week stay in USA. Great breakfast room with toaster/microwave etc. Good size room, very clean and modern. Would thoroughly recommend. Lots of free parking.

We checked in after a long day of driving and were greeted by a very friendly front desk clerk. Val was friendly and helpful. We were so glad they had a luggage cart so we didn't have to carry all my bags for 1 night! The room was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable nights rest. The area has a lot of resteraunts and all the stores you need. Having a nice person at the desk really means a lot when you have been driving all day. Thanks Val! Tomorrow its off to Yosemite!
