“Our dinner was delicious!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Overall rating a 4.25. The service was excellent. The salad was good but nothing special. We ordered the chicken picatta and chicken parmigiana and they were delicious! The meals came with sides of perfectly cooked green beans and pasta with sauce. The chicken parm had a little too much melted cheese but this did not detract from the flavor. The portions were large enough that we had lunch the next day. We were very pleased with our dining experience.

“Pizza to Go”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

We had a pizza to go and ate in our room....enjoyed the pizza but have never eaten there before and we didn't eat in the restaurant but I think we would consider it if we were to stay in Oakhurst again.

“Italian meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

The food was good but not what we were used to in Italian food. We asked for a Caesar Salad and got a salad of mixed greens, a piece of salami (I'm guessing that's what it was), cheese and Caesar dressing...not the usual Romaine lettuce, cheese, croutons and dressing with the anchovie option. It was okay but not what we anticipated. Also, we each ordered a different pasta that said it was served over pasta. We "assumed" it would be spaghetti, vermicilli, angle hair or some sort of thin pasta. However, both came over Penne Pasta that was rather tough. Would have much rathered regular bed of pasta. Flavors were good though.

“Poor service, poor food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

After hiking at Yosemite, we were looking forward to a nice spaghetti dinner. The menu states may substitute whole grain or gluten free pasta for any dish. We ordered whole grain spaghetti and salads. Our server took the order without saying much. The salads were greens only with a tiny bit of mozzarella, no tomatoes, cukes, or any other veggies. Tolerable. Our dinners came with penne instead of spaghetti. When we asked our server, she said that's the only whole grain pasta we have. Had we known that we would've ordered regular spaghetti. Sauce was watery, as if pasta not drained well. Not tolerable. Our server didn't come back for about 10 min, then saw we did not eat our meals. One pasta deducted from our bill, but we still paid $32 for 2 glasses of house wine and dinner we didn't eat! Very disappointed! Wish the server would've told us about the pasta when we ordered.

“Greasy!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

Not very good italian food. Greasy and oily. And they have no gluten free options for gluten allergy suffers. Food is overpriced. I have been to several DiCicco's in Fresno, Clovis and Oakhurst and they all fail.
