“Great Service and Great Time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

Decided to give this hotel a try and was not disappointed. As a former Four Seasons hotel -- you're going to come in expecting the best -- and that's what we got.

Check in was seamless and we had a room looking over Fashion Island. Now I had read many reviews saying that construction was loud. It was pretty loud, but, once you close your balcony window and curtains the noise isn't bad.

Everything about the room was top notch. Clean and the Bose sound system was an awesome touch. Service was what you'd expect with a place like this. Every employee made contact and seemed genuinely nice, unlike other hotels where everything seems forced and fake.

Parking is expensive -- like $30 or so a night. Here's a tip -- if you come on a weekend, you can park on the street below for free all weekend. It's not much of a walk to the front drive from there -- just a few steps.

Room Tip: Ask for a room looking away from Fashion Island -- that way you'll be looking away from the cons...

festive for the holidays. Rooms were very clean and the vibe was spa like throughout the hotel. Gym and pool was very nice. Celebrity siting as I worked out next to albert pujols breakfast was very expensive at the hotel you might look elsewhere. very good location and the rate was very reasonable.

Room Tip: get a room on the front side as they are doing construction work for the next several months behind...

I recently stayed here for a conference. The hotel itself is nice. Rooms are clean and the bed/pillows are very nice. Like many business/conference hotels, you do get charged for things like internet, valet parking, etc. The mall across the way is nice and does have some local restaurants but the rest of the shops are fairly generic (but nice). The whole vibe could be almost anywhere- Scottsdale, suburban Denver....all kind of blurs. Definitely get out to the coast which is where Newport Beach shines. Also, it's about a mile to the upper Newport bay which is a great place to run

Very average hotel in a great location. Given 4 1/2 stars by hotels.com I was surprised when I checked in to find a nice but average hotel. I would rate it a 3 star because at this price I expect free WiFi. They take away the coffee in the lobby at 8:30 so I just missed it on my way to my morning meeting. Also, there was no coffee service in my room, something usually found in 3 star properties.

I was extremely happy with the room that we were given, especially since the rate was so reasonable. We enjoyed the fitness center (at no cost) and chose to park on the street, with no problem given that valet parking is the only option for onsite parking. All the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I would stay again without a doubt.

I booked on a travel site and booked a package that came with massages and breakfast included. Upon check in we were upgraded to a suite, very nice. The service at the front desk was great. The room was large with a separate living area with TV and couch, but the decor was a bit outdated. Both tvs had Bose speakers. Their was a large mirror with a chair to sit in outside of the bathroom, and the bathrooms were large. The massages at the spa were great, and the breakfast from room service was ok. The food was a bit cold. The pool area seemed small for such a large hotel, but there was a bar and it wasn't crowded when we were there. Hotel was a great deal for a seemingly expensive area!

We are here for a conference and got a great room rate. After the confefence, i checked my bank balance and realized tha hotel put a $500 hold on my card. When i called to inquire why, they transferred me 4 tes and then someone told me that they wod take care of it in the morning. It was never taken care of and I am lucky that I had money in my account to cover other expenses. Nice Hotel, but because of this I will probably never recommend or stay here again.
