“BEST THAI RESTAURANT IN NEWPORT BEACH”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2012

We eat here at least once a month and have never been disappointed. If the many choices leave you bewildered just ask for your waiter's recommendation and be prepared to enjoy the best Thai prepared meal in Newport.
These people have the Thai formula down so well, they offer cooking classes if you think you are ready to cook THAI!

“Delicious Food, Attentive Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2012

Try the Tom Yum soup and the Royal Thai Snapper (very spicy) or Thai Chicken Flame and the pad thai noddles with vegetables instead of steam rice, all were cooked to perfection. Large portions, reasonable prices, friendly attentive staff and no valet parking hassle if you go for lunch. Highly recommend you don't miss this restaurant.

“Disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2009

I grew up a few miles from this restaurant about 25 years ago and I remembered it as being top notch. I also ate at their sister restaurant in San Diego 9 years ago and it was wonderful.
Fast forward to 2009..Not so much. The pre-curser is the valet parking only with no valet attendant leaving you stranded on PCH. The interior of the place is worn out. The bathroom was worse than some dive bars I have been to. The food wasn't as good as PF Changs and that is pitiful. Dirty glass. Unkept staff. I'd go on writing this review but it is pointless. Don't waste your money.

Despite serving the Royal Thai family, this restaurant has an Americanized taste and matching prices. Great location and ambience sadly is lost on the food. $$

“average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2008

food was just very average, also they are crazy with the spices. most places you go there is a ten star scale = 1 being not spicy and 10 being extraordinarily hot. they have a 1- 5 scale. We ordered 2 and a half stars and it was so darn hot it was almost impossible to eat. I have had much better Thai food in Las Vegas. I would not go here again.
