Having been to Chart House at Dana Point we wanted to visit the Newport Beach one whilst on holiday this year. The restaurant is lovely, clean with modern interior and a feeling of being fairly new although it has been there a few years.
There is valet parking outside for $4 which saves you having to find somewhere yourself.
We thought the food was very good and the service could not be faulted.
We recommend the Lobster and Shrimp spring rolls and their Lobster Bisque for an appetizer, both were divine.
Try their Macadamia Nut crusted sea bass with peanut sauce for an entree, it was very good indeed.
Highly recommended is their dessert - chocolate molton lava cake - it is absolutely delicious. It's very light with hot chocolate sauce inside and ice cream covered with nuts.
Price for a three course meal with a bottle of wine approx $110 for two people.
