This has become a favorite spot when visiting this area. The food is excellent, albeit on the filling side (large portions), and the ingredients clearly freshly sourced. The tuna tartare appetizer is excellent; the fish preparations and lamb chops are also quite good. It is also a nice space, and the live jazz enhances the experience without detracting from good conversation. There is enough space between tables so you don't feel cramped in, and don't have to hear other people's conversations. The place is clearly "grown up", and it is part of its attraction. The space has more the feel of a winter chalet than a harborside marine feel-- which is just as well because so many other places in the neighborhood try to do the latter. The wine list is impressive, leaning to the higher-price side. Overall, this place delivers a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience, and does so consistently.
