“Balboa Ferry an attraction in itself.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

Visitors to the Newport Beach area of California should make a point of crossing the bay via the Balboa Ferry between Balboa Island and Balboa Peninsula. The ferry is steeped in history and save at least a half hour in touring the area. The crew is accommodating and the price is reasonable. A good view of the bay and historic Balboa Pavillion.

“Cute little trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

This was kind of unique. A little ferry that holds three cars takes you across to the island. The price is right and it was quite a nice little ride. I would recommend.

I'll tell ya, if you want to see the island without driving 45 min around the way and take a nice ride across the water for a few bucks....this is it!

“Fun Experiance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

Best $3.00 you can spend.
What a cool feeling to see, not feel, the shore move away.
It might even save a little gas.

“Fun trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2013

We took the ferry last night and found it to be a quick and fun way to get back to the mainland. For four bucks, my two kids and I enjoyed a few moments on the water and avoid the traffic. Worth the money.
