the fishing was outstanding, we caught 8lb bass and 20lb catfish all week long, the weekends were a little too busy for me but I survived it

“Great place to base a canoe trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

Went this weekend with my son's Boy Scout troop for the annual President's Day Canoe Jamboree. Our troop has been there before, and the campground is very well-maintained. The only bad thing was that the showers in the main facility were out of order all weekend. others were available. This is a great location for starting a canoe trip. A boat launch is available in the park, and there is a restaurant and store nearby.
