“Pirate theme outside bar and inside restaurant and bar.”

We ate there twice, their steak and lobster special on Friday nights is good for the price. Nice little salad bar. Don't have enough servers. The ambiance is good, but very crowded and noisy. Last time it was terribly overcrowded, food waiting in the kitchen to be server and people waiting all over the place. Need some organization.

“Overrated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

I have been going to Pirates Cove since its opening a few years ago. Not so much any more maybe once a season.
It dont take long for the novelty to ware off.. In the summer it is a fun place to go but it does get very crowed and they have a lot of rules as far as where and how you can consume beverages you mus purchase theres or you will be policed by there staff as well as charging to park your boat depending on the holiday. Beware you can scratch the hull of your boat anywhere along the beach from hidden rocks. The food is average at best and the drinks are over the top expensive (30.00 a bucket of beer) The servers are NOT all that !!!
Be ready to drop a $100 for lunch and a few pops.. Have not made a visit in the winter months why should I. There are numerus place to off roading without gettin any where near this place or California off road laws... Revised 1/1/2013..

Sorry yer time was not as pleasant as the past matey. As you know we have been going through a lot of changes fast and we are constantly changing and we value your opinion. Our summer months are very busy. We have now opened up over 3000 miles of off road trails and winter is a great time to come and get a waterfront RV campsite or a cabin. We are also sorry if our prices seem high and would love to hear your recommendations on where you feel we can improve as we dont hear that very much. We hope you will stop buy again and if you do please let one of our staff know how we can serve you better.

“Looks like fun in Summer Time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

We stopped here just to see what the place is about. Since it was December we arrived in off-season. Facility is new, nice sandy beaches and elaborate zip-lines. Definitely a party place in during warm weather. Great for water sports and starting place for off road enthusiasts.

“overpriced”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

It looks nice from the outside, but reminds me of Disneyland. It has destroyed our nice part of the river by bringing all the Havsu BS from down south. Now we have more cops, traffic and Havasu idiots....thanks

Food is too expensive and not that good

Drinks are too expensive

“You have to stop by.”

Rode our sea-doos up from Havasu for lunch. Terrific burgers and ice cold beers. The setting, restaurant design and wait staff were wonderful!
