“A nice lunch in the desert”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Needles is a small desert community with not a lot of quality places to eat but we followed previous TripAdvisor recommendations and stopped at China Garden/Panda Garden for lunch. We were not disappointed. For a reasonable price, you get a delicious meal that fills you up and tastes great. The restaurant is not highly decorated but it's just what we needed: a nice break on a long road trip. The service was good and we would definitely eat there again if we're in the area.

“Another Average Chinese Restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013 via mobile

As average as average can be. Average facility - average sanitation - average service - average food - average price. Everything swimming in well seasoned (as in AGE) oil, basic soy, garlic and MSG seasoning. Weak service; everything done in first gear. My order was to go, and it was packaged so the smallest, weakest container was on the bottom, guaranteeing a mess. It was a long day and, hey, it's Needles, Ca! You can't be too picky.

“You're in Needles and you want chinese food. Where else will you go? Decent, with healthy choices.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

A very average, but clean place. I was satisfied with my eggplant dish, which was a nice alternative to normal road food. The family that runs the place is earnestly doing a nice job and the service is fast & polite. The cheesy chinese synthesizer music is a Classic! If I close my eyes I can imagine a disco ball lamely spinning as awkward chinese eighth graders awkwardly dance and try to hide their braces and clunky glasses.

“Best Chinese Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

Stopping over in Needles we saw the restaurant opposite where we were staying. Upon entering the local cops were eating inside....we knew it must be good! We decided to get take out and went for the sweet and sour chicken. Wow, just how big are the portions! The most chicken bites I've ever had and some of the tastiest also. All for under $10...cannot complain at all.

“Decent Chinese Foood”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

We had take out and did not realize the portions were so large. We really could have gone with only one entre for the two of us. Very quick service, however the cashier did not speak english very well. I really wanted to try the the thai at Cook's Cuisine, however they were closed (after driving around for about an hour as the Garmin was confused as to the location (it had us doing some off roading as well).
