We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay when visiting Napa Valley. Every person we came into contact with was warm, cheerful, helpful, and polite. They were proud owners and employees as they should be. It is small enough to allow more personalized service. A wonderful breakfast was served each morning with a variety of options from homemade breads, oatmeal with all the possibilities you can think of to add, fruits, and a special made waffle at your request. Each evening the smell of homemade cookies would draw us to the gathering area..absolutely delicious!!! The staff was very helpful to suggest places for dinner. The grounds were beautiful!! The attention to flowers, plants...landscaping made it very special to walk through or to sit and relax and enjoy the garden. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bedding was comfortable. We slept like babies! We wouldn't think of staying any place else the next time we visit. Since we've returned home we've talked just as much about where we stayed as we have about the wineries we visited....and we visited a lot of wineries!!!! Thank you, Elm House, for making our trip a special one!!!!

Great Best Western. It's very quaint - you felt like you were at an Inn and not your typical Best Western. We checked in later in the evening than planned for our Thanksgiving get away. Hotels.com didn't notify the Elm House with our special request but luckily the owner was able to take care of us. Our room was just off the lovely back garden with a running fountain and hot tub which we enjoyed all to ourselves that night. Clean room and comfortable bed. Very warm and welcoming complimentary breakfast in the main building - it was a perfect start to a great holiday
in Napa Valley!

This place is a little gem, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful in planning our day. The facility is kept immaculate from the rooms to the gardens. You can pay more in the area at the fanciest places, but for us it met all our needs and was well located foe our wine tours. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Elm House Inn because of the wonderful reviews and the reasonable price, compared to other Napa properties. We were not disappointed! Our room, located in the little cottage behind the main building, was large, beautifully decorated, and quiet. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful and very hospitable. The breakfasts were definitely a large step up from most hotel breakfasts. The cooks and waitstaff were hard working and eager to please. The choices were numerous, from fresh fruits to cereals to cooked to order waffles and poached eggs. And I have to mention the fabulous freshly baked muffins, which changed on a daily basis. They were the best! We didn't get to try the cookies, but I bet they were delicious. The location is fairly good as well...easy access to highway 29 and only about a fifteen minute walk into the heart of the town. I would highly recommend this inn.
