“Nice quiet room right off of HWY 29”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

Very nice Marriott on the outskirts of Napa. Convenient location, minutes from downtown, and across the street from Trader Joes, Panera, Shell gas, Chipotle, and such. But also only 20 minutes from St. Helena and the quiet wineries. We had a king room that was at the end of a hallway that four doorways shared and we were a little nervous, but it was very quiet and peaceful. All the Marriott amenities including plenty of parking and free Wi-Fi.

I like your pictures of our front fountain and VINeleven bar very much. We are proud of both of those features of the hotel, as each is a fairly new edition. As a top contributor to TA, we know that your feedback is from that of an expert traveler. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share, and look forward to hosting you for future visits. Cheers!

An excellent resort and spa! Beautiful rooms and landscape. Great location! Love that they had wine tasting every evening! Love Marriott's in general. Will definitely come here again:) The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend for a quality stay!

We stayed at Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa in May for out first wedding anniversary. We were there to attend the Bottle Rock Festival and to visit the vineyards of Napa. It was a truly great anniversary trip. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located for the activities we were in Napa for. The hotel had a shuttle to the Bottle Rock Music Festival that we were attending. The shuttle picked us up at the front door, brought us to the festival, and was easy to find for the ride back to the hotel after the festival. The fitness center at the hotel was well equipped and clean. The pool (outdoor) was good, too. The concierge lounge was good size and clean. It was quite crowded in the mornings for breakfast. Hotel staff were pleasant and helpful!

Hi Joan! This is the type of feedback we like to share with our entire team, and we did so this morning at our daily standup meeting. The Bottle Rock concert was a lot of fun and I am really glad you got to go! Cheers and thank you very much for staying with us.

Only stayed for one night traveling through Napa. Rooms nice but somewhat boring. Pool / outdoor area is the main draw for serious relaxing with a glass of wine. Parking not optimal, but not a big deal.

This hotel has a bland exterior but a nice interior with good rooms. The service had some lapses, particularly when ordering in the courtyard. However, that was my only complaint. I liked the restuarant and the courtyard and pool. Wine reception was very nice as well. Well located right off the main drag. Somewhat expensive, but stayed during season, so was expected. Would stay again.

Room Tip: rooms by pario are best.

We find ourselves using this Marriott as one of our regular hotels when traveling to Napa. The location is very central to downtown Napa and close enough to the wineries by St. Helena. Best to get courtyard views. The outdoor patio with fire pits are nice while enjoying the daily wine receptions. The concierge breakfast is hearty with several hot items and fresh fruit, etc. Concierge is always helpful for wine tour recommendations. Overall a good value except high demand dates. Can be in the upper $300's at those times which tends to be too overpriced.

Hi Grace! We are happy to hear we have become one of your regular Napa Valley hotels. We like to think of ourselves as a good home base for both downtown Napa and the plethora of wineries just north of the hotel. We really appreciate your visits, and know there will be a glass waiting for you near the fire pits the next time you are in town. Cheers!

Went up for 30 hours (one night stay) to get away from city life. Very enjoyable. Never left the hotel -- breakfast, lunch, dinner here. Onsite restaurant was good enough. Really enjoyed the poolside service. No glass bottles allowed, but still could pour beers and wine into plastic cups. Rooms were good enough. Definitely recommended. Great for families, singles, anyone. We'll be back.
