The room was fine. Not fancy, but certainly clean. The breakfast was there, but just barely. I would suggest you find somewhere else to stay until the bridge construction is finished (about 400 yds. away) or be prepared to awaken to a pile driver at precisely 8:00 A.M.

The staff is polite and helpful but the room we stayed in definitely had probelms. A broken latch on the shower door, and a toilet that ran all night, and the refridgerator door fell off when we opened it. The heater didn't work, and over all the room could use some updating including a coat of paint. However our room was large, clean and had comfortable beds. Out of 3 hotels we stayed in that week, it was the highest price and the lowest quality.

Old-school charm combined with super friendly service. Our hosts for our long weekend were helpful, the continental breakfast simple but satisfying and our room clean and tidy. Check out the artist consignment shop next door for some beautiful and unique souvenirs. We prefer to spend our dollars on the wine when we're in Napa; the affordable rates at Wine Valley Lodge afforded us a few extra tastings!
