“Super service and good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

we stayed here for two nights and was positively pleased with the location. we originally was staying at the best western that got top rated here on trip advisor, but they were full and recommend this place. this location is better and walking distance to all the small tasting stores. the staff was super nice and helped us with finding good local restaurants and arranging some nice vine tasting trips. the price is right for the simple but clean and nice rooms. we will def stay here again next time :) (they are in the process of remodelling and change the name to 3 palms hotel and suites)

Room Tip: Room on the ground floor in inside the pool gate was god to us :) and they have free parking and wif...

“Great affordable Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

This hotel was a great place to rest and relax after a day of wine tasting and site seeing.
The price was affordable. The location is great since you are in walking distance to the downtown area of Napa. Our room was clean nicely furnished and the bed was covertable. There is a small clean pool nice for a quick dip.
If you are looking for an extravagent hotel you might want to look else where but if you are just looking for a clean place to lay your head at night while most of your time is spent wine tasting and site seeing this is the place for you. I travel to spend my time learning and seeing all that a place has to offer not to stay all day in a hotel room so if you are like me this place is for you.

Room Tip: I like the ground floor rooms close to the parking and no issues with walking up and down stairs. We...

“Short stay OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Spent the day driving from San Francisco via Sausalito to Napa. Lovely town to drive into, picturesque. As we only wanted one nights accommodation, we found a Starbucks, used their free wifi and booked this hotel. Our room was upstairs but there was an elevator so no issue with our cases. The guy at reception was mildly welcoming, nothing out of the ordinary. He told us to park our car around the next street corner behind that hotel so we got our bags out of the car first so that we wouldn't have to drag them around the streets to our room. The room itself was ok, just average. The toilet and shower were separate from the vanity which had a coffee maker next to it. The coffee was disgusting so we didn't bother a second time. We basically ate out that night and left the next morning. OK for a one nighter but I wouldn't bother staying here for any longer.

Room Tip: If you have to park around the back of the hotel in the next street, get your bags out of the car fi...

“Dorothy we're not in Napa Valley anymore, we're in the Twilight Zone”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

Booked through Hotwire.com so we didn't know the name of the place before paying. 1) tiny room 2) odd smell upon entry (which either disapates or I just got used to) 3) bathroom-tiny (hard to even turn around in for a small person let alone a larger one), mold/mildew, cracked tile, the caulk looks like its as old as the building which by my estimates was built some 30-40 years ago. It is a 3 level bates looking motel with the first level being parking under the drive in court u shaped building. No fridge or microwave. NOT WORTH $105 paid. Room 210 decorated with 80s pickled wood furniture except for the 3 chairs which were from the 60s (possibly from the set of the Austin Powers movies). The door, although closed/locked falls open a half inch after closing it requires the safety bar be pulled over the peg attached to the door to ge the door pushed up against the door frame for a good fit. As I was leaving the office to get new pillows to replace the rocks they had on the bed two well well liquored men were employing a cab and as they were loading up they kept yelling they were gonna buy a hooker. Bottom line...when you enter the parking area driving in on the left ask yourself WTH am I doing this isn't the UK. Then keep driving to another lodging facility. At least it appeared to be bug free...

“Great location, good value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

I would call this place a glorified motel...but in the best sense of the word. I didn't expect much when I pulled into the parking lot. But our room was spacious, had great bedding, a great shower...real coffee cups (not Styrofoam). The hairdryer was antiquated to say the least, but all the rest was great. But the real reason to stay here is the location...walking distance to all the lovely downtown hotspots.
Oh yes, and the front desk staff were very nice.
