“Awesome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

We were very pleasantly surprised by the Ivy! The entire staff was amazingly helpful and very professional. The rooms are very nice, and the bed was more comfortable than any other hotel that I've stayed at in Napa! We'll stay here again! The breakfast area is very clean, well stocked and is more than adequate. The refrigerators in the rooms are a very nice touch, as is the huge tv and amazing bedding. Well done BW!

Room Tip: we were at the back by the pool and it was very quite.

My friend William Shatner decided I should stay here, and gave me a fantastic deal. Maybe 1/3 of the price of the lowest price B and B we could find in the area. No it's not the Ritz, but with the cost/value ratio this is one of the best I have found. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and the rooms are plenty big. The bathroom shower is a nifty over the head model. Their was a huge TV which we never turned on, but probably would be great for those who want to watch. The breakfast was your basic free hotel breakfast - fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, cereal, bread for toast, hard boiled eggs, and make your own waffles. For those complaining, take your savings and go out to eat. The real nice thing was the location for going up the valley. It sits on the very northern end of Napa, about a one minute drive to Hwy 29 and about 5 minutes from Yountville. For those who are looking for a clean place to sleep and want to save some money for the fantastic restaurants and wine tasting, then this is the best place of all time. Don't forget to get yourself a deal. The workers were so friendly, they even allowed us a late checkout when we explained our Sunday situation. Two thumbs way up.

This was a spur of the moment weekend in Napa and I was looking for a nice hotel that wasn't too expensive. I came across the Best Western in Napa and decided to book a room. I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk staff (Brian) was very friendly and courteous. He even made recommendations for dinner and made reservations for us at Cole's Chop House (check out my review for that). The room was clean and free of bed bugs (I ALWAYS check for them). The continental breakfast was a little hokey (not enough selections), but that's the only minus I could think of. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. Will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: It would probably be best to get a room away from the freeway. Our room was very quiet; no noise wh...

I am so glad my friend recommended we stay in this hotel! The location is great: easy to get to right off of Highway 29 (for those who don't know the area, Highway 29 is a small highway, and the fact that this hotel is close to the highway in no way means that it is noisy) and conveniently located for access to other wine country towns like Yountville. The decor of this hotel is classy Alice-in-Wonderland, with very high-backed chairs and bright blues. Very very cool. I would most definitely stay here again!

After a rave review from my sister, I opted to spend the night here with a bunch of girlfriends on our girls' night out in Napa Valley. The location was perfect, super easy to find and a cheap cab ride up to Yountville where we were having dinner that evening.

The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated...I think you'd be surprised that this is a Best Western as the feel is way more high-end boutique hotel than super corporate, mass produced gigantic hotel chain. Our room was perfect for our group, a big super soft and cozy king-sized bed and a pull-out sofa bed in the lounge area. The bathroom was HUGE and had great lighting and plenty of mirror space. Which is helpful when you have a bunch of women all trying to get ready at one time.

We weren't very high maintenance and all of our experiences with the front desk were pleasant and efficient. I'm sure if we required any further assistance they would have been more than happy to comply.
