“Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2011

This is one of the very best B&Bs we've stayed in anywhere in the world. Ken and Susie make you really feel like guests and they can't do enough for you. Breakfasts are both delicious and generous; perfect if you are on your way to taste wine after eating. In the evening, you are treated to complimentary wine or beer in the tavern room, one of the most pleasant rooms in the house. It's also a perfect place to relax, read, or enjoy the morning coffee that is waiting for you at 7 a.m. Ken and Susie are wonderful company and very helpful in acquainting you with Napa, its winereries, restaurants and scenery. To top it off, you can leave all the wine you buy with them and they will arrange to ship it all to your home! This is a great advantage over having individual wineries ship bottles separately. Whenever we return to Napa, we will head straight for Cedar Gables Inn. Oh, and don't miss the complimentary cookies each day!!

“The best B&B in Napa, for sure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2011

We just returned from a week's stay at the Cedar Gables Inn, and what a great experience we had! From the first moment Susie and Ken welcomed us graciously. They put their heart and soul into being your hosts. Ken served as a concierge for us, making suggestions and reservations at wineries and restaurants. Susie is an extraordinary cook who provided us with delicious breakfasts with home-baked goodies each day. Imagine waking up to the aroma of cinnamon rolls or apple fritters or french toast souffles....unbelievable. Gluten free? No problem. Susie will make accommodations. Each room in the inn is different...some small, others large. Housekeepers magically keep the rooms clean and straight without getting in the way. Evenings are special with wine pourings, cheese and fruit, and wonderful soft music played by Ken on guitar. What a way to relax! If you are thinking about a trip to Napa, get yourself to Cedar Gables Inn. You won't regret it.

Room Tip: You'll love any room.

“Fairy tales come true!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2011

We stayed in September 2011. It was spectacular. My husband and I stayed in the Miss Dorothy Room. Small, but efficient. I walked into a dozen beautiful long stem roses, chilled champagne and chocolates. How romantic. The inn itself is lovingly maintained. Susie and Ken are the epitome of innkeepers. Fresh homemade cookies, free beer, wine, cheese and crackers at happy hour. Delicious homemade breakfasts. We are vegetarians and were easily accommodated. I would highly recommend the inn. The area restaurants are all within walking distance which is a good way to work off some calories!! Enjoy your stay. We did.

“Delightful and Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2011

The property is a beautifully restored mansion, with major emphasis on comfort. The hosts are enthusiastic and dedicated to making the stay enjoyable. We took a cooking class that was very fun and relaxed while still being informative. Altogether a great weekend get away.

Room Tip: No elevator, so rooms on higher floors require climbing several flights of stairs.

“What a pleasant surprise.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2011

We recently stayed at Cedar Gables Inn for two nights. My husband and two other couple friends of ours were all more than pleased with the experience. We all had varied experiences at B&Bs, but this was by far better than we all expected.

Ken and Susie, the owners, were extremely friendly and accommodating. There were many small, welcoming gestures along the way - such as the bottles of champagne in our rooms (we were celebrating anniversaries), made-to-order cappuccinos and lattes, wine tastings and cheese in the lounge area every evening (Friday's a vineyard comes in to discuss their wine), etc. The rooms were clean (obviously a little dated, but that's a B&B).

But the best thing about the inn was the breakfast. Delicious, freshly-made scones, French toast soufflés, fresh fruit parfaits, egg/veggie croissant with bacon. We all loved the food and it saved us a lot of money vs. going out for breakfast that probably wouldn't have tasted half as good.

If you're looking for a B&B in the area, definitely check this one out!
