“First rate wines and tasting staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Some friends recommended we visit Laird Family Wines so with no expectations, we rode in to a beautiful but not overly done winery. The tasting staff was genuine, informative and not presumptuous. Wines were really good and a good value. I wish we had more time as we would have enjoyed sitting in their garden and having a glass and taking in the setting. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this gem.

“Wonderful Winery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Laird is really a hidden gem in Napa. Tucked away on an obscure frontage road, you will zoom right by it as you head for the major wineries in St. Helena. You will be making a mistake if you don't visit Laird, either on your way in or out of the Valley. Really great wines (Paul Hobbs is consulting with them). Beautiful main building and lovely gardens surrounding it.

“Absolutely wonderful wines”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2014

We went to Laird after checking into our hotel They are located right off highway 29 in Napa so very easy to find. We arrived there when a few people were just leaving and another couple were tasting wine outside on the front patio. We were greeted and told of the $20 tasting fee with credit if we buy 2 bottles of wine. We agreed to do tasting and were asked if we wanted to go outside and sit on patio. They would bring out wines to us. It was a spectacular Sat afternoon in January at 72 degrees and sunny. We tasted 6 wines and they were all great. We purchased multiple bottles of wine and probably could have added more as there was not one wine that we didn't like.

This is a nice winery with great wines. A new favorite of ours and will definitely go back.

“Fun wine tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

On a group tour and did a tasting. Unfairly to them it was our 4th winery so most (all) of our group was a little impaired. Our driver was great from Platypus tours. The rep from laird was patient with us. Wine was great.
