“Intimate, upscale casual, wonderful food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

Someone recommended this as a place to have a nice dinner, we are so glad we went! A fun dining experience for 2 couples, we ordered several tapas dishes to share, and ordered more when those ran out! Each bite is a flavor explosion, if you aren't sure, ask, they will be very helpful.

“Great Dishes and Great Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

This is a small comfy intimate restaurant. They serve Spanish style Tapa dishes that are as close to authentic as I have ever had outside of Spain.
Service was great. Food came fast and never had to wait very long between the various dishes. Nice wine selection by the bottle. Not as big of a selection for wines by the glass.

“Great Paella, But a little expensive”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

My husband and I visited Zuzu because our B&B Recommended it. All of the food was delicious, and our server was able to give us some great recommendations. The Black Paella was my favorite! They suggest 5-7 Tapas to share between 2 people which let us taste a lot of variety. But each of the tapas was a little small for the price. The food and the quality was good, but I felt it was a little overpriced for the amount you got. The Sangria was also delicious! It would be 5 stars if the value was better, they took reservations and the seating didn't feel as cramped.

“Excellent Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2014 credit card Amex Card Member Review

We went to Zuzu the other night, without reservation (my fault). Well, actually, we were keeping options open, trying to follow the "flow of the day".

First off, Zuzu is a real Spanish Style Tapas place, not "fancy", very cozy. You walk in, you can smell the aroma, and you know you want to stay.

What we ordered: (that's plenty for 2... after a day of wine tasting and snacking)
Citrus marinated Tuna
Tunisian Brik Pastry stuffed with Dungeness Crab
Braised Pork Cheeks
Black Paella

The dishes are well made, tasty, and presented nicely. The Black Squid Ink Paella is especially good, brings back memories of good old spanish mediterranean coast, especially Andalucía, where we loved so much

On top of all that, the price is very reasonable, and the Sangria is well made and taste wonderful.

Only drawback: I should have made a reservation.

“Loved the Tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

Each plate came out as it was ready, allowing the table to share and enjoy at a relaxed pace. I recommend this restaurant.
