We had such an amazing dinner a couple of years ago at Celadon, that we made a reservation for this trip. We are SO GLAD we did! The service was incredible - very knowledgable staff. Anne was our server, and she was great - attentive and made great recommendations from wine to dessert. They also have Manny, a Sommelier, who is a character and made great wine recommendations last time we vistited. Hubby had amazing Hanger steak with chimichurri sauce, potatoes, and croutons. I had Petrale Sole in a lemon caper sauce with mashed potatoes. Goat cheese app and Lemon Merangue Pie was wonderful. Meals like ours at Celadon make it hard to consider going anywhere else in downtown Napa for a special occasion. Not inexpensive, but totally worth it. Highly recommend! Great atmosphere too - in the "outside" area, or the indoor part.
