“Mainly for Locals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Napa has a new destination for Napa style food without too many tourist. For tourist, who a willing to pay extra for the ambiance there are better choices. But, if are mainly going out for a nice meal this would be a good choice. The service was very good and the staff well trained. For me the major problem was the noise.

Loved the food and service. Its a new restaurant, sun in my eyes for about 25minutes, but they're working on it. I would give it a thumbs up, reasonably priced for a good meal in Napa

Great new restaurant! Very friendly, attentive service. Several options on the menu, was hard to decide! Started with a tasty tomato & watermelon salad. My fried chicken with potatoes & gravy was wonderful! Will definitely be back!!

“Great Fried Chicken”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Hubby came here specifically for the fried chicken he had read about. We were not disappointed. It was even better than some of the ones we've had in SF. I asked about it and they told me it was double battered and fried in rice oil. It was well seasoned, moist and the batter was just crunchy, crispy delicious. It came with mashed potato and vegts, 2 pieces of fried chicken for $17.
My lemon thyme risotto, $17 was filling but nothing compared to the fried chicken.
We liked the fudge cake topped with ice cream, $8. Coffee $3, Beer, $5.
Had a nice time at this restaurant and couldn't say enough about how nice our wait staff was. Chantel was sweet and attentive to her customers. We don't get up to Napa Valley often, but I'll be back for the fried chicken if we do.

“no corkage $ on 1st bottle, $10 after that and great food too!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

we all know there are a ton of restaurants in napa but we were really surprised at this one as the food and service were great and the price was great too!! the location is a bit different only because its the first floor of a small office building and the acoustics aren't the best but otherwise, its outstanding. greeted by a super friendly and efficient hostess, we were seated in a great corner table and immediately served water. when I commented that the water glasses were a bit small (i'm always thirsty) mine was immediately replaced with a large glass full of ice and a plate of lemons. the service was sensational! our server and helper were subtly attentive and always there at the right time. we enjoyed the special heirloom tomato and ahi appetizers, lamb chop special cooked perfectly, super moist pork chop and tasty flat iron steak. no room for dessert sadly as the cheese plate would have been perfect with the cab we had leftover. really appreciated the free corkage to start and wish that more places would do that. the food is really the draw though as all was delish!
