“Perfect Romantic Weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

My husband is a frequent business traveler, so the last thing we wanted was another typical hotel. From the arrival you realize this is not what you are getting, personalized attention at the front desk, and an escort to your private, beautiful cottage. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the fantastic, carbo-loaded breakfast at your door made everything perfect. Our room had a fireplace that wasn't working, and we had trouble with our a/c/heat, but otherwise all was perfect. One thing not mentioned on their website is they provide a free ride to and from most of the restaurants in Yountville for dinner from 5-10. Also, Sharon gave us a superb private wine tour, she took us to lots of little gems, based on her knowledge of the area and in what she thought we would enjoy after getting to know us a bit.

We've stayed at the Cottages three times now and every time is just as perfect as the previous visit. With 8 separate, adorable, cozy cottages nestled on a beautifully landscaped property it's hard not to fall in love. Add in perfect Napa decor, the best basket breakfast in the world (if you like fresh French pastries - and who doesn't) and amenities like complimentary transportation to some of Napa's best restaurants, complimentary snacks and a bottle of wine and L'Occitane toiletries and you have paradise.

Room Tip: There isn't a bad cottage on the property, period.

Just got back from a wonderful weekend with husband in Napa. We loved our cottage. It was huge and hand a large back porch. Furnishings were charming, had fridge, sink and stove. Bathroom had huge jacuzzi tub and heated tile floor. You can tell a lot of thought and time went into the inside and outside decorating scheme of these cottages. Boudin bakery basket delivered to our front door every morning with newspaper and oj. Sat outside at night and enjoyed our own private fire under the stars. The staff was charming and friendly and offers free transportation to and from the local restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to couples and families!

This was our first time out to Napa and Mike the owner and Kevin the Concierge were always on hand. Kevin set up all of our Dinner reservations and drove us everynight to the restaurants of choice. What a great service! The best was; getting S'mores ingredients delivered to our door!
Yountvilleis a wonderful little town!! Great friends, great memories and GREAT restaurants and wine!

Room Tip: Cottage #4 is the largest and has a porch that wraps around the side of the cottage...A perfect plac...

Redwoods, forest setting, just minutes away from winery row. I couldnt have found a more beautiful cozy place. Clean, fully stocked cabin in the woods. Complimentary ride to dinner. We absolutely loved the Cottages! Staff truly helpful and courteous in every way. Love the Lotion! Brava!

We were so thrilled with our choice of Cottage of Napa Valley. It's perfectly located, close to both Napa and Yountville and amazing wineries. The service is wonderful, especially Keith's help with reservations, advice and driving us back and forth to Yountville for dinner. It truly felt like home away from home. Extremely comfortable, quiet and unique. SO much better than a hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay here. You won't be disappointed.

Room Tip: We stayed in cottage #5 which was wonderful and quiet.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights as a part of our anniversary trip to San Fran and Napa Valley. We absolutely loved it and will be returning. I highly recommend a stay here. It has a great reputation...several other travelers we met commented on what great a choice we made.

The setting is so relaxing and beautiful. All the cottages (8) face a grassy courtyard with large trees (landscaping ensures privacy). We stayed in cottage 3. The inside was so cute. They think of everything here - fire starting kit, iPod dock, stocked kitchen, etc etc. Management is wonderful. We LOVED the complimentary daily basket of baked items from Bouchon. What a great breakfast! The car service is also nice (they will drive you into Yountville - 5 min). They also took care of arranging the shipping for the wine we purchased.

Yountville area is the place to stay when you visit the valley. All the good restaurants and shopping are located there. The cottages are less than 5 minutes away. Next time we stay here we will probably spend more time relaxing at the cottage instead of dining out everything. It's just such a peaceful place to come "home" to.

Thanks Cottages! Can't wait to received the #3 key chain :-)

Room Tip: We stayed in Cottage 3 (king bed) and loved it. Private gate and parking. I don't think you ca...
