“Excellent accomodations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2013

We spent two nights here earlier this month and were extremely satisfied with this hotel. The service was excellent on every level that we dealt with, front office staff, cleaning staff and restaurant staff. Our room was clean, very comfortable and huge! It was a handicapped accessible room (212) and the bathroom was gigantic as was the bedroom. Bed was very comfortable and darkening curtains made it even more so. My only suggestions would be that the bath tub seemed to be quite slippery and a bath mat or slip pads would be a good idea. Also I realize it is a room to accommodate a wheelchair and therefore there is only one lounge chair in the room, a second chair when booking non-wheelchair guests would definitely be nice. We used the desk chair instead but it wasn't as relaxing. I'm an early riser (4am) and my husband isn't so I was very glad of the comfortable lobby with a fireplace, TV and coffee available (24/7) where I could sit and read, catch up on the news, etc before most of the other guests were up. Excellent breakfasts made to order each morning and no charge if you're a Hilton Honors member. Definitely worth it to sign up online before staying, save yourself $30/couple each morning - eggs benedict, omlettes, crepes, etc. Very delicious and great service. Nice looking pool and spa though we didn't use it. Room off the lobby with games you can borrow and filled bookshelves for borrowing....nice touch. Sad but true I am a smoker and was happy to see a small patio outside with tables and ashtrays. Very convenient location to everything. Definitely recommend the wine train, we did the lunch trip which was excellent and such a relaxing way to see the valley. Also recommend Fume Bistro for excellent service, very close by. We had appetizers and wine, but the menu for dinner looked great. Nice Mexican food up the road at The Red Hen (I think that's the name) We would definitely stay here again. Thumbs up!

Room Tip: I would recommend a room facing away from the street because the view of the valley is beautiful fro...

Our expectations for a clean and quiet room at a reasonable price continue to be met.Clean bedding is important to us. Location is about three miles from town center but conveniently located to other area wineries and restaurants

Family trip to Napa. This was our first trip to Napa. We wanted to stay in a hotel and not stay in a Bed and Breakfast for our first time in Napa. We looked at over twenty hotels and B & B's before we chose this one.

The hotel is well situated in Napa and reasonably staffed. But there is a definite management flaw in controlling the cleaning staff when they find something that they like after we left it (accidentally, of course). Yes, I know this happens at many hotels, but the response of the staff when I called it to their attention was inadequate.

Hotel is modern, clean, with sufficient amenities. the bar/kitchen is satisfactory for quick drink or breakfast. Area restaurants offer huge array of opportunity over the modest kitchen at the Hilton so would not consider dining in.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while we visited Napa wineries. We are both Hilton Honors Gold members and were here for a rewards stay.

I think it’s a little bit outside of downtown Napa, but I’m not sure because we never went around that area. It’s very convenient to all of the wineries. If you do a wine tour, this will the last pickup and the first drop off of the day, which was nice. There was also a a very good Mexican restaurant, just a mile up the road. It was a little bit dark walking back, but its not mandatory that you drive to it from the hotel.

The hotel offered wine tasting a few times while we were there. They had a white and a red to choose from. I think at some point there was a promotion for a free bottle of wine for “liking” them on facebook, but we missed it. The breakfast was very good. We ordered a different type of crepe off the menu each morning.

The rooms are standard Hilton Garden Inn – everything is very new and very clean. Hilton Garden Inns are probably one of the most consistent within the Hilton family and this one did not let me down.

If you’re in the Napa area, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever get the opportunity to get back.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Napa California is one of the best kept secrets in the Napa Valley area. The hotel is conveniently located near Highway 29 not far from excellent restaurants, vineyards, and wineries. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. There is a small pool for relaxing after an enjoyable day visiting wineries. The service is excellent from the front desk and the restaurant. There was even a winery that had a complimentary wine tasting before dinner The value of this hotel is impressive with all the expensive inns, motels, hotels in Napa Valley. The Hilton Garden Inn in Napa California is a hotel that we will come back to when we are in Napa Valley and definitely one that I would recommend for a stay while in Napa Valley.
