We went to Napa to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our friends chose the hotel and also planned most of the weekend....we just showed up. :) This hotel was awesome! The rooms are nice and spacious. The decor is simple and relaxing. The service was great. Every meal we had at the hotel was delicious. If/when we go back to Napa, we will stay at Andaz.

The Andaz was very welcoming - it's catered to the young and hip crowd, which is a nice change. Lots of wood in lobby and rooms, a very nice touch. Huge rooms with sitting areas. Convenient to walk to nearby restaurants/ shops. Napa the town itself isn't that interesting. Sonoma and Healdsburg are a lot more lively.

Free mini-bar for snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Free wine tasting each evening. Breakfast buffet is ok, not great - if you don't have a breakfast package, not worth paying for it. The concierge there is awesome! Very responsible, helpful and knowledgable about vineyards. She the best staff there. The receptionists are something else- promised to arrange transport the minute we arrive and he never related message to concierge. As a result, we had to scramble for a car last minute to catch a flight. Similar situation at check out - receptionist promised to fix bill as they had charged for breakfast even though I had package. Had to call hotel a day later to request change again as that person failed to do what he promised.

We are in the midst of enjoying a long weekend in Napa and are so pleased with our choice of Andaz Napa. From the moment you are greeted at the door and escorted to a comfortable seat to enjoy a glass of fine wine while being checked in, the service here comes across as the best. The rooms are spacious, well presented and full of nice surprises - from the bath robes to the High Speed WiFi with complimentary non-alcoholic mini-bar, things can't be getting much better. Well, that is to you go back down to the lobby bar......

Room Tip: Balcony room on the back side or a room with a fire place

Here is the list: the right location, close to main street, The Thomas, Morimoto and all the other fantastic dining spots. Bright, hip, clean attentive decor and service culture. Well organized check in and admin. Fresh, roomy up to date rooms with luxury linens, products and overall experience. Free parking. Having stayed at most of the other downtown options, this is the hotel I'll return to.

My wife and I stayed here on a long weekend getaway (sans kids) from a Friday to a Monday. The hotel service was excellent - check in/out was an absolute breeze and everyone was super helpful and friendly. After touring several wineries and purchasing about a case of wine, we asked in the lobby what would be the best way to get them home. The Andaz contracts with a wine shipper and all you have to do is fill out a form and drop the wine off in the lobby. The wine shipper comes and picks it up and takes is from there - a great help! The room was really nice (we had a king suite with a bathtub) and the free mini-bar items (non-alcohol) was a great plus. The terrace patio was great for unwinding with a glass of wine. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and nice. We didn't have much of a view, but that was fine since we weren't sitting around in our room very much. If you're going to stay in Napa, this is a great place and location. However, I will say that the next time we are in the Napa area, we might consider staying up in Yountville or St. Helena to be closer to some of the restaurants/wineries that we really liked.

Modern hotel, nice architecture, public areas elegant yet very comfortable. The email check-in process needs tuning up however since the person with the iPad to check us in was not to be found and had to search out someone to give us our room keycards. Our room 619 was also elegant, fashionable, quite spacious, and luxurious at a level well beyond what one might have expected given the price. The bed was sooo comfortable and ensured a great night's rest. The bathroom was very spacious, equipped with stylish fixtures, the shower huge with rain shower as well as a multi-function wall shower. And it was spotlessly clean (as was the entire room). Didn't eat at the hotel although they had a quite nice restaurant. Instead went down the street to Allegria for a 5+ star meal that complimmented our one night stay at this 5+ star hotel. It might be considered a bit pricey but it is relatively less costly compared to other 5 star places we've stayed at all over the world. It was worth every penny! Highly recommend this property.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel conveniently located in downtown Napa. The staff are very friendly and attentive. We were immediately greeted by a desk person and he quickly checked us in with his iPad. I point this out because this hotel figured out how to remove the whole front desk check-in experience and simplified it with a more personable way of checking guests in. The person even handed us a glass of wine as he was entering our information. The rooms are decorated in a contemporary style. We stayed at one of the two rooms that come with a private balcony. We spent our time out there enjoying our coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings. Other perks we enjoyed include: free wifi everywhere in the hotel, free gym use next to the hotel, free parking (there's a parking garage right behind the hotel), wine tasting at the front lobby (not sure if it's everyday), and newspaper and coffee at the room. All-in-all we had a wonderful stay and definitely recommend it to others.

Room Tip: See if the room with the private balcony is available.
