“Great Boutique Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2011

The interior design was modern and very well done. The lobby was really cool. Our room was bright and spacious. The swivel TV was also a unique feature.

Free parking and internet!

There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. For a cheap lunch, the Small World Restaurant was excellent. For a nice dinner, Grace's Table. For an inexpensive late night dinner, Bistro Sabor. The pork pupusas and fresh churros with caramel were amazing!

This is a really nice hotel. We had a suite which had one king and a pull out couch. The room had everything you would need - fireplace, refrigerator, 2 sinks in the bathroom, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Internet shop.

We were on a business trip to San Francisco Google Headquarter and decided to just chill prior at Napa Valley for a day during the weekend. It was rainy and cool last week, but the hotel welcomed us with such funky attitude. A rare boutique hotel in such an area, absolutely love the contemporary design feel. Front Desk and Concierge were pretty efficient and helpful, my colleague and I were put on the wine train for the evening ride pretty fast. Having been to European vineyards, I am not expecting much from the California ones, however, Avia Napa serves as a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the cities with a fashionable touch. The only disadvantage is that there are no twin room, so we have to share a queen bed in a standard room. But the bed was with such good quality that you can sink in comfort but will not disturb your partner sleeping next to you! Love the Bose Sound System and the coffee machine in the room.

My girlfriend and I just spent 3 nts/4 days at the beautiful property. Our initial experiences were all positive. The front desk was efficient, car valet was more than willing to assist us with luggage, and the concierge had all of the information we needed for a great vacation in the Napa Valley. We were on the fourth floor in a Lux room which was very modern and efficient, the bedding was great, good flat screen TV and a really cool bathroom layout. We did not eat any meals here. For breakfast we walked 3 blocks to the supermarket and picked up bagels, milk, etc. and kept them in the room's fridge. The Wine Train is only minutes away , also. At night we walked all over downtown very easily for the hotel is located in the heart of the action. overall a great experience, we will stay here again.

Room Tip: Great hotel for your Napa Valley vacation!

What a great hotel!! We stayed in a suite and it was one of the nicer rooms we've ever stayed in, anywhere. The guys at the front door were fantastic, no matter what time of day, the bartenders were always superb in the lobby bar, and hotel employees were always friendly whenever you ran into them around the premises. One gap we found was with the front desk staff (during the afternoon.) One of them was a little "stand-offish", which might just be someone trying to maintain an air of sophistication which the hotel deserves, but a smile would help. Another, when we were checking in explained to us how "stressed she was". Sorry, don't care. All in all a GREAT hotel, just need them to loosen up, up front.

We stayed in the AVIA Napa for two nights in May and had an amazing time in the small town of Napa. The hotel looked fantastic with really helpful staff and was in a great location. Facilities were brilliant- the shower and bathroom were especially amazing!

We had a agreat time in Napa going oon a hot air balloon trip and a wine tour- both of which we would strongly recommend!

We stayed four nights while touring Napa Valley. We had a king bed room without a tub. The room was very small, but adequate for our purposes. Besides the bed, there was a desk with a chair, and just one one other chair. There was a nice two cup coffee machine, and a flat screen TV. The bathroom was large, with a walk-in shower with both a rain shower head and a hand held spray head. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The free parking was on the third level of a separate parking garage behind the hotel. The bar in the lobby was attractive, but a little expensive. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The concierage in particular was very helpful -- she recommended wineries to visit and set up tour appointments for us, and she even got us last minute front row seats to a concert at the nearby Uptown Theater. The hotel location is great, if you want to be able to walk to restaurants in downtown Napa -- you even can walk to the Wine Train station. And in a few minutes you can drive to the two main roads that travel through the valley to the wineries.
