we stayed in a condo unit, 4 of us, with ample room. we had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit with complete kitchen, dining area and sitting area. although it is a little outdated, the rooms were comfortable. the bathroom/shower was a bit tight but the sink/counter area (separated by a door) was fine. it is not the nicest place in napa valley but overall a good value.

the spa was nice with very courteous staff. the staff upon check in at the hotel was not so friendly. there was no formal greeting and she basically got right down to business without even cracking a smile.

Thanks for your review about your recent stay at Silverado Resort. While we were happy to hear that you enjoyed your time at our Spa, we were disappointed to hear of your interaction with our Front Desk check-in. This should be the first place a great impression is made and I do apologize it was anything but. Your comments have been forwarded to the management staff who will follow up directly with their staff.

Thank you for your time and we do sincerely hope to see you back at Silverado Resort and Spa in the future.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the resort and will certainly choose this property again for our next visit. The location is ideal for a Napa trip. The staff is exceptional at the front desk, the restaurants, the spa and housekeeping. Especially friendly and efficient are the bell men who whisk you to your suite in a golf cart.

We stayed in a one bedroom junior fireplace suite and while it is a little dated it was a perfect place to come back to after our return from a day of wine tasting. My only complaint about the room was the low flow toilet that needed to be re-flushed each time and the noise from our neighbors above. The walls and floors seem a bit thin for a resort of this quality. We were told that the suites will be updated over the next three years so we hope to return and expect them to be even better.

Room Tip: I would ask for a second floor room or one with no one above you to cut down on the noise.

Requested a room without a connecting door due to past negative experiences with noise from adjoining rooms. They indicated only had units with connecting doors. Sure enough, that evening heard the neighbors belching and talking loudly through the door. Additionally, the low flow toilet recharged numerous times throughout the night for no apparent reason, it was LOUD and woke us up. We were in the first floor unit, could hear the guests in the room above us walking around. No refrigerator in the room, no bottled water in the room. Room was clean. Overall, not a relaxing stay.

Thank you for your valued review. It is always our policy to exceed our guests expectations so you can imagine our disappointment when reading your review. We do apologize that your stay was not what you were hoping, especially with regard to all of the noise you endured. I would like you to know that your comments were passed along to our Engineering team who have gone out to inspect the toilet to make sure future guests don't experience the same thing.

From your description, it does sound like you stayed in one of our standard resort guestrooms. These rooms do not come equipped with fridges, however, we do have many rooms on property that do. Our one-bedroom suites are spacious, have a full kitchen with fridge, microwave and all have their own separate living room area. Many of these rooms also overlook the golf course.

Again, thank you for taking the time to review the resort. We do sincerely hope that you will visit us again the next time you come to the Napa Valley.

Silverado was a fantastic place to stay, play and relax. It is in the heart of Napa and is a convenient location to get to everything the valley has to offer. The resort has beautiful courses and views, plenty of tennis courts, a full-service spa and great restaurants. If you didn't want to leave the property on a weekend get-a-way, you certainly wouldn't need to. There was even a wine tour, Platypus, that picked up and dropped off on the resort.

Silverado is a golf paradise. Courses are pristinely manicured and stunning. If you are a slower paced golfer, try to get afternoon tee times. You definitely don’t want to rush through these courses! If you're up for instruction, I highly recommend golf pro Tara if you can get on her schedule. She’s very informative and has a friendly and professional personality.

Overall, had lots of fun and was very impressed with Silverado!

Room Tip: I really enjoyed our beautiful room near the Mansion, Pro Shop, and the range. It was a convenient l...

My wife and I stayed at resort during the Live in the vineyard weekend
-The trip to California was great but staying at the resort made it even better
-This was my first time to the area and when I open the doors to my room for the weekend I was thrilled to be staying here.
-I would recommend to any out of town guest or even those that stay in California and want to have a nice get away from the city life
-The staff was nice and helpful
-The service was wonderful
-The place was like a home away from home.
-When I return I will request the same room Suite 406
