When we pulled up, we thought it was a gas station. Stephano welcome us and after my first bite of food, we forgot about the drive to NAPA. It was a great experience and we will be back. The seafood soup was one of the best Italian food we had. This joint makes Olive Garden looks like eating at Mac donald. Excellent Food and we will be back for more.........It is hard to dine elsewhere after Cucina Italiana.....9.8 out of 10 score.

Walking into this really cute, welcoming restaurant..... your starving... either from the long day on the lake or from the drive in... and the delicious french bread with the most amazing oil/vinegar and garlic hits the spot, followed by great wine. Gnocchi is FABULOUS! Owners put in a lot of tender caring love into this restaurant and it shows.

Cucina Italiana … who would ever expect to find this luscious restaurant out in the middle of nowhere…granted, an extraordinarily beautiful middle-of-nowhere. Warm, welcoming and charming, Cucina Italiana is a real gem. The owners are welcoming, friendly. The food …it's fabulous, from the generous pours of wine, the crunchy Acme cibbata and balsamic dipping sauce (oh sweet heaven…I could have eaten only this and been happy), the bruschetta and perfectly dressed salads, to the entrees … cioppino (you can get a ½ order and still not be able to finish), pasta of all shapes and forms (home-made ravioli's!) and espresso / cappuccino's so wonderful you'd swear you were in Italy. The lemon lavender gelato is divine. We went there to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday and couldn't have picked a better place. Casual and welcoming, it's Italian cooking at its best.

My friend steve has been raving about this place for months and when I finally was lucky enough to have a meal there I was stunned.
The atmosphere is welcoming , the owners are fabulous and most importantly the food is as authentic as I've had since Italy ! Absolutely a must when in Napa ( or anywhere near for that matter ).... But be warned , you'll crave it in your sleep .
