i heard rave reviews about the crab martini and other delectable dishes before even stepping into the door. Many Zagat award certificates adorn the walls and decor and furnishing are modern elegant. of course, i was excited to order and try out dishes. the first disappoint was the crabl martini that server said was fresh, it was fresh but body meat only and not one leg or claw meat included. since its dungenesss season now, i would expect a mix of body and claw meat. for the price it should be so. the second dissapointment was the tamarind shrimp, they were overcooked and bland tasting, i have had this dish in Phuket so I know how good it can be. Overall, the dishes we had could have been found at many moderate or low priced asian restaurants. When i told the server about the shrimp, she said she would tell the manager.
