“Closest thing to a New York diner!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

We always love to eat our breakfasts in good diner like restaurants. Well made and tasty omelets with all the accompaniments. Well, Crepe Vine fits the bill to a tee. Such good food - although you place your order at the counter and it is served to you by a staff member, this is as close to a New York diner as you can find in Mountain View. Not just for breakfast, but everything on the menu.

Great food, really large portions and friendly services. Highly recommend.

“Great neighborhood restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

We were happily surprised to find a great "new" restaurant right in our neighborhood - Crepe Vine. What an extensive menu! I had fish tacos that were fresh and great tasting. My husband had a vegetarian sandwich. We both got a tasty caesar salad and wonderful roasted rosemary potatoes. The portions were huge - a great value. The staff was welcoming, knowledgable and friendly. We are looking forward to the next time we eat here.

“Great Brunch location!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

Came here for brunch Super Bowl Sunday with my wife, our son and his girlfriend. We arrived around 10:15. You place your order, then they seat you. We had and had a short line. WE must have waited about 10-15 minutes for our table. By the time we were seated the line was out the door. The food and service was excellent. My wife and I shared a florentine crepe and a western omelette. Both were excellent! My son and his girlfriend shared Eggs Benedict. they said that it was excellent as well.

“Casual outdoor cafe lunch. ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

Happened upon this place as we were walking down Castro St in Mountainview. You order at the counter then wait to be served. Although it was quite chilly, we chose to sit outside. The restaurant has outdoor heaters so it was quite comfortable. Many others chose to do the same as the outdoor cafe was packed. The food came out fairly quickly. DH ordered the Mediterranean crepe, accompanied by a green salad and seasoned potatoes. I ordered a chicken wrap, served with Caesar salad and the same potatoes. You can order fries but we opted for the tasty potatoes. Along with our beverage, lunch was $26. Quite reasonable for California. The quality of the food was good. The salads were fresh, the chicken was grilled to perfection, and we both loved the potatoes. The menu is quite extensive which made it difficult to choose. Everything sounded so good. I only wish I could have eaten more!!
