If you ever spent time at the Pacific Inn MT. View, this is NOT the same place by a long shot! My wife and I had been to this motel a couple of times in the past. We have done this weekend trip over the past 3 years and found it to be well worth it in the past,, but no more. The new owners have destroyed what it use to be, here is the list of problems these ignorant fools have done. When we arived and went to check in there were two parties ahead of us checking in. The first party was told that they did not have a reservation on file, the person showed the clerk (and I presume the owner) his copy of his hotels.com receipt. The clerk said it didn't mater and what name it was under, the customer said his wifes name since she is the one who booked it online. The clerk rudly said "That doesn't mater, you are not her. You have to call hotels.com and get your money back from them." The next person came in to ask for a second time to have his door fixxed, so he could get inside of his room. The clerk, with a disgruntal tone said "ok, ok, I don't know but I will look at it again." She then left without excusing herself and left the lobby huffing. When she came back, a customer who came in behind us jokingly said "did you get the door fixxed?" With a rudly harsh voice she replied, "if you are not a part of there party, it is none of your business!". Yes it wasn't the other customers business, but she could replied in a more professoinal manner. We didn't say much when we gave her our check in info, gave her my name , DL, Credit card, and car plate number. When we got to our room we were not too suprised, well because of what just happened and seeing over 3/4 of the rooms under renovation (1/4 of them still being used for guests). The beds had clean sheets I presume, but were not tucked in, the refridge was not turned on, there is no clock radio as there use to be. No cups in the bathroom and the toilet had a bad flapper (ran all night). The jacuzzi tub that we use to enjoy was dirty. In the morning we turned on the television to see the weather report, to our suprise, they hadn't paid the satelite bill... that's right we had a pop up on the screen saying that "you need to pay your subscription to resum service". So me and my wife decided to go get some breakfast at the dining area in the lobby. They have a full kitchen and use to serve full meals at night and a decent enough breakfast.... HA! What a joke now. We walk up to the door that say's "to remain open at all times durring business hours", IT'S LOCKED! We finally get inside and there is a juice machine, 3 keep warm pots of weak coffer, 1 package of instant oatmeal, 4 doughnuts in a small pastry display, a caraff of milk and 5 apples. On there bennefit, they did bring out some more doughnuts after 4 other parties came in, but then the juice maching ran out of juice and they never refilled it. We had recommended the old place before, but not now. Stat away!
There was signal for wifi, but we were afraid to ask for the WEP code. And one person asked for ice and was told that there was only one ice maching and it was in the kitchen.
