“Culinary Oasis In Mt. Shasta!”
On a recent stopover while traveling I-5 in Northern California, we had the good fortune to find the Trinity Café. Housed in a remodeled bungalow, the menu pulled us in and the quality will bring us back. The apple cider brined center cut pork chop was moist, tender and delicious - a first for me at a restaurant - and the sides of purple cabbage mashed potatoes and sliced carrots with a cider cream sauce tied the plate together. My husband's grilled natural grass fed rib eye steak with blue cheese fries and salad greens was ample, cooked perfectly and delicious as well. The desserts that we shared, chocolate soufflé and citrus crème brulee with candied orange peel were the perfect way to cap off a great meal. The décor and ambiance was softly relaxing (perfect for road-weary diners) and the staff were delightful. It was just minutes from the Best Western where we spent the night.
