“Good Location beautiful view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2014

We decided upon the hotel due to the view of Morro Rock and its reviews. I was fairly disappointed as for the $$ we spent for the rooms I felt there could have been more attention made to details. The sheets were horrible, scratchy and the hairdryer was missing. When they brought up a new hairdryer it was in pretty rough condition and had never been cleaned. The room was spacious and the view in the morning was wonderful, but not worth the money spent. Downtown is a 5 minute drive away, and next time we will opt for one of the less expensive hotels that is within walking distance of everything.

Room Tip: Corner suite on top floor bay view is a great size. TV is way across the room though and difficult t...

We stayed here for our anniversary and it was a perfect weekend. The views are breathtaking and the Spa services are truly amazing.

Staff is really friendly and professional and you can't really beat the location. Far enough from town to be really quiet and romantic, but yet close enough you can just walk to the town.

The Inn at Morro Bay was excellent for a romantic getaway .Not luxury but clean & very comfortable .Our room was ground level facing the bay, which was delightful.
The "Happy Hour" was good.Local wines were excellent.Dinner was o.k.not too much choice but nice not having to leave the hotel.
Surrounding area is really beautiful ,with great walks from The Inn.
Staff were very helpful & friendly.
Hope to return.

Room Tip: The room had fridge & coffee maker as well as microwave.

We had a first floor room with two double beds. Room was very nice and very clean, service was great, room was right on the harbor which was pretty, quiet and relaxing. Great value for central California coast. I would look forward to staying here again!

This hotel is a great place for a romantic getaway. Not very luxurious but comfortable. The temperature in the rooms can be challenging to control but the overall amenities are decent. From the balcony of my room I could watch all the bay sea birds and sea lions play.

Great location. Cute resort. Rooms would be great if a little bit cleaner. They need to either clean the bedding more often or replace the bedding. The restaurant is awful and overpriced for what you get. The staff is friendly both at check in and at the restaurant. The walls are thin. You can hear just about everything your neighbor does. Luckily ours stopped talking loudly early. 50/50 on whether I would stay again. Overpriced for what you get.

Lovely setting in Morro Bay, almost a stone's throw from Morro Rock. The dining area and patio have especially nice views of the water. The rooms vary in spaciousness and amenitites. The furnishings of the bedrooms and bathrooms are new and fashionably up to date. SERIOUS GAPS: There is no fitness room. Period. There is no business center, though wifi with no password is helpful. Rooms have mini-fridge but no coffee maker or microwave. Take this into account if you expect these amenities. Sounds of other guests in rooms above, beside can be heard. Pillows are too thick for most people's preference.
