“Fabulous October Wedding Weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

The Inn was the location for our daughter's wedding October 12! The wedding was held on the deck and the reception was inside a tent on the deck which was beautiful! The staff was amazing with the entire experience from beginning to end. Since it was basically a destination wedding most of the guest stayed at the Inn. The rooms were great, the food was well beyond delicious and far exceeded our expectations! Lezlie and Nichole were with us every step of the way and were not only extremely helpful, but fun! Anna, the GM was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Tyler helped to take care of all the rooming. Even the maintenance crew bent over backwards! We had 100 guests and EVERYONE raved about the entire experience! Thank you to the ENTIRE staff as you are a truly an amazing TEAM! Annie and Terry

Room Tip: There isn't a bad room at the Inn. My personal favorite rooms are the king rooms above the deck...

We loved the location so close to the state park and Morro Rock. Happy hour was really a pleasant sunrise with an amazing view of the bay. Drinks we good, great price, and the calamari was delicious. The grounds around the inn were pretty and clean with fresh flowers. The employees were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Had king room with bay view - well worth the bit extra. Choose this hotel from TA reviews & it had a pool, having had to change our original route to San Francisco, having been staying in Las Vegas for a few days. What a contrast!!! Quiet area, pretty gardens, wonderful views – yes you doo need transport to get to the main part of town, but then you have the best of both. Quiet if you want or busier in town. We arrived mid evening after the long drive. Check-in was not too easy to find in the dark. A small sign outside & an even smaller one inside in what appeared at first sight to be a lounge area for guests to use as with computer access. Check-in was on a table to the left of the doorway. A couple of other guests pointed me in the right direction. Once I found it - the process was fine. Room was great, better than expected, with a gas fireplace which was handy to take the chill off the room in the nights. Had a small balcony so spent two evenings just watching the beautiful sun sets over the bay. The colours were spectacular. The room was spacious and had corner fitment which housed the fridge and there were glasses & coffeemaker with mugs on top. The pool area was surrounded by fence with plants all around. I made the most of it. On the last night, the hot tub seemed to not be so hot – not sure what had happened and as it was our last night did not check if it was sorted the next day. We ate in the restraint the first night which was with hindsight perhaps not the best choice as we were very tired and could not do the meal we ordered justice. The portions were huge – we both had clam chowder followed by prawns and pasta. The clam chowder was OK but not the best we had had on the holiday. We expected a bit better form the standard of restraint. The prawns & pasta, was very nice - just too much for us that night. The price is not cheap but I expect the views in the daylight would more than compensate. We ate in town in the day, the rest of the stay. The service was good & the staff pleasant. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Room Tip: king with fireplace & sea views

We were meeting friends in Morro Bay and selected the Inn after reading reviews. Prices were a bit high for the size of the room, and we elected not to try the pricey menu at the Inn. Morro Bay itself is an interesting place, with a lovely harbor for sailing and kayaking when the weather is more agreeable. It was situated well enabling us to explore Paso Robles and enjoy some wine- tasting at a couple of wineries.

Booked this last minute on our way down PCH. Did the tour at Hearst Castle. Had a full bay view King - worth paying that little bit extra. Stunning views of the Bay and Morro Rock. Helpful and friendly staff. Great food. Bar closes at 9pm but they were happy to stay open a little later for us. Bathrooms are fairly basic with not much surface area for toiletries but on the whole a great little find!

While the hotel is getting long on the tooth, it still very well kept. Right on the bay with a terrific view of the the Morro Bay rock.
A quiet setting with a quaint town and golf course near by. Great dining room and bar with live music. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere. We were there for our honey moon many moons ago and back for our fiftieth.

Room Tip: There are only a certain number of Bay view rooms so be aware. We had a corner room and balcony in t...
