The reason for staying at Morro Bay, was a road trip in California - so we had only planned to stay one night at Morro Bay. We had booked in advance via" hotel.com" so unfortunately the room was pre-payd.

The room smelled awful, and the bed linens were not clean. We just dropped the key, did not bother to argue with the guy in the "reseption". It was just such a creepy place.

We went accross the street to Ascot who luckilly could offer a room, a wonderful place by the way.

Went to watch tv and the remote did not work, and the wife was not. I nice

i checked in june 16, 2012 and departed the next day. the room was for the most part clean. but on the internet site it said the queen size room had to queen bed (they were full size). it said the room had a mini refrigerator, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and air conditioning. so when we went down to ask were the mini fridge is the man said to get the ice bucket the ice is free n if i needed more room to use the trash can, we asked well what about the ac he said to open the windows!! irittated at this point i didnt even ask about the iron or hair dryer.. would i recommend this hotel (MOTEL) to anyone absolutely not!!!! ohh not to mention the pillows on the beds smells like they havent been washed i though i was going to bring home bed bugs ugh!!!!

This is the loudest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Literally half of the night I was sure that the ceiling would fall through from the room above. Absolutely unable to sleep! Water was brown! The bed was not the greatest but the overall look of the room was not bad. I would not stay again!
