Wonderful place to stay. Small quaint motel (10 rooms) but nicely maintained, clean rooms and very friendly personnel. Beautiful view of Moro Rock and the bay, only one block above the Embarcadeo and shops. We've had the pleasure to stay there on many occasions with our dog "Baxter" and always look forward to our next visit!

Labor Day Weekend 2007! I think we booked the last room available on the west coast...but what a nice stay we had. This is a very charming, small 10 room motel 1 block from oceanfront Embarcadero. Sandy, the resident manager, made us feel right at home. We had a very clean, comfortable room with 2 queen beds. This motel is within walking distance of everything. If you do go, you simply must go on the whale watching tour. Wow, what fun, we saw 8 whales! If you don't want to go out for dinner you may barbeque right outside your room. We are already planning our next trip in December.

It's a 50's era motel completely up to date, spotless, quiet, and in the best part of town to go walking, eating, or just stroll the embarkadero. Extremely friendly management and we'll never stay anywhere else!

The first time we stayed here was for a week in August 2004, for my Wife's Birthday...We were treated like we were the only Guests there. Anything we wanted and everything we needed was provided. Since that time it has sold and it only got better, especially with Sandy managing. She is the Best and makes her Guests feel as though they are old friends. She was an original employee and knows the Motel and the area better than anyone I've ever known at Morro Bay. If you want it sweet, simple and comfortable...not to mention reasonably priced. Then this is the place for you; Families, Couples, Elderly, and Pets are all Welcome and encouraged. Since our First visit our Family and Friends ALL stay there and always enjoy their visit. I Highly Recommend The Pleasant Inn. As for the Lady from Bakersfield, she needs to give it another try now that Sandy's in charge.
