Recently went to Morro Bay on vacation in from Atlanta, GA and ate at the Galley twice. Great food, professional service, nice dining room, and amazing sunset view of the Bay and Morro Rock.

All the seafood was extremely fresh and well prepared, salads crisp, veggies nicely seasoned and cooked just al dente. Sorbet and creme brulee for dessert was a perfect ending. Can' wait to go back!!

Awesome food and an amazing wine list. The Andersons are a pillar of the community here in Morro Bay, and a great locals spot as well as for tourists.

I happened upon The Galley completely by accident...or not. They say everything happens for a reason! I truly believe that. I have a passion for travel , incredibly delicious food, amazing atmosphere and special people...I found all of these at The Galley. While filming pieces of a Travel Show pilot in Morro Bay I encountered a hunger for fresh fish and a cold local beer. By the power of the "prestidigitation of peregrination" (the magic of the road trip) The Galley was right before my very eyes. An immediate feeling of belonging is heavy in the air. A cold Firestone IPA and the most amazing blackened halibut later I was family!! I promise you I am not employed by The Galley...I am just enamored by them!! From the welcoming hand shake and smile from Mr. David Peter, the delight which is his wife traversing the floor witha beautiful watchful eye, to his son and daughter helping fill up this amazingly heartfelt experience you must go and let them introduce you to this small piece of heaven they call The Galley...of yea..and THE CAR...what can you say!!!
