“Yum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

The burgers are yummy and it makes my mouth water just thinking about this place. Nice and friendly staff. If I could have taken this place home with me, I would!

“Owners couldn't be nicer, get the sliders”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

Wee Shack is a nice little place near the high school. You can't go wrong with most of the burgers, although I tend to prefer the sliders. I recomend splitting the fries as they're not the best (shoe string style). Shakes are great, as are the Breakfast burritos. If you're in there and have a sweet tooth check out their sweets display, there's tons of goodies to be found in there.

Sit at the counter for the best experiance, the owners and workers couldn't be nicer, and are great for conversation. There's also typically some sort of sports playing on the two tv's flanking the counter.

“Didn't meet expectations - bland and pricey”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

I enjoy trying new places to eat. This small burger joint had all the looks of a promising experience. We were told they serve fresh, local ingredients in a creative way. The menu looked great. The person who took our order was friendly. We were excited.

I ordered the special and my wife tried a signature burger. We were sorely disappointed.

Overall, the food did not taste fresh or creative. It was bland. And it cost nearly $40!

Upside: our kids liked the food. And the fries are good.

Downside: we could have spend half the money at In-N-Out and been much happier.

Lots of promise at this place, just need to hire some new cooks!

“Only thing missing is the soda fountain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

This small unassuming place has in, my opinion, some of the best burgers.
Each is made to order and delivered to your table hot and fresh.

The taste brought back memories of the old soda fountains a lot of us grew up with.

Definitely worth a visit..

“Good burgers by the Bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

We stayed at Morro Bay recently for a mini vacation. We went to check the local food scene and found The Wee Shack. It was a typical looking Burger joint. There were a number of cars in the lot so we thought perhaps this place might be good- a local hangout. We were RIGHT!
The Cheese burgers were very good with a number of options and combos including mini- sliders. They also had hotdogs and salads, delicious shakes and fries and other sandwiches. We eneded up coming back the last day of our 3 day trip and eating here again and we do not typically eat burgers more than once a week. The place was very good.
