“Trevelled here with a group of grandparents and grandkids for excellent adventure”
I was on a trip with my mother, my son, and 13 other grandchildren with their grandparents (Elderhostel Road Scholar trip). The weather was perfect. The marine layer lifted around 8AM thankfully, and the temperature was the warmest it had been the whole week--a balmy 58 degrees. Pablo, our guide, versed us on how to use the paddle and took all of us off to the side to try our technique. Once in the water we had two guides with each pod (about 5 boats). We travelled easily around the bay viewing a bird sanctuary, harbor seals and sea lions, as well as an oyster farm where we were given freen samples! We then were directed to the sand dunes where the kids played and we enjoyed a fabulous lunch (variety of salads, cold meats, and wines for the adults/juice for the kids). You won't be disappointed!
