super clean, staff was so friendly and goes above and beyond for their guests! The man who checked us in was fantastic, made sure we knew the details of our room and was super friendly! Rooms impeccably clean. They think of all the little details clean and sanitized shower mat, super clean bathroom, taffy, and a swan out if towels!! loved our stay you can't beat the location just beautiful!

My fiance and I had a wonderful stay. Very peaceful and romantic. Staff was very friendly and helpful in guiding us to the right places and answering questions. We got the romance package which was a nice addition. We will definitely visit again.

Waking up in the morning to the view of Morro rock with sail boats and seagulls surrounding it, was amazing. We didn't want to leave. This hotel doesn't feel like a hotel, it feels like your home. Everything is luxurious and super clean. We'll never stay anywhere else when visiting the central coast.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the rock have the best views.

We stayed in the Morro Rock Suite. The view was great, the room was very clean and nicely appointed with details like a small bag of salt water taffy. There was a continental breakfast with a small breakfast room with a view of the estuary. My only complaint was that when we arrived there was no one present in the office to check us in - she was apparently helping another guest so we had to wait a few minutes, but the service was great other than that.

I just came back from a great weekend at Estero Inn. From the first moment we arrived the front desk staff made us feel welcome, and was very friendly, accommodating and personable. The hotel is beautiful and is recently built. It was our first time to Morro Bay, the staff was very helpful with recommending things to do in the area as well as great restaurant suggestions. You can see the attention to detail that was put into the building and the room. Our room was very nice and was so comfortable. It was located upstairs with a private balcony, we loved having a glass of wine while enjoying the view of the bay. The location of the hotel was perfect, we walked all over town and went to some great restaurants close to the hotel. Even though it is on the main street in town the hotel itself was very quiet and relaxing. I was very impressed with our stay and we loved Morro Bay. We can't wait for our next getaway here!

Couldn’t get in at the Anderson Inn so Estero was my next choice. Sadly, whilst currently #2 on TA rated accommodation in Morro Bay, for me this place fell well short of expectation. I guess it started as I arrived and shown to my room upstairs, carrying two cases whilst the host didn’t offer to help. Not a good start. The room is ok but nothing special. It is sizeable though and the hotel is well located. Breakfast is free and it shows. Oh, and the rate I paid was for the same as the Anderson Inn, a far superior property with hosts that really make you feel welcome. This place – other than its location – is simply average.

We stayed at the Estero Inn in February, 2013, which was off-season. The hotel and the town of Morrow Bay were very quiet, and very relaxing. I believe we had the choice room in the hotel- the Sunset Suite, which overlooks the Bay and the fishing boats. The room had a gas fireplace, well decorated and very comfortable. Yes- I would stay there again, if I passed that way again.

Room Tip: Ask for the Sunset Suite- it has the best view of the harbor, and a wrap-around balcony.
