My husband and I stayed in the Ocean view Suite with view of Rock and harbor ......very nice amenities including free wi-fi and continental breakfast . If you golf, the Morro Bay Golf coarse is beautiful and Cheap...we got senior rate and paid total of $70 for both of us. We thought it would cost atleast $100 each. What a nice surprise! We definitely are coming back and we will stay at Estero!

My wife and I had a long day, touring on our motorbike from Sausalitio, along Skyline Blvd, and then down to Morro Bay. The coast was cool and foggy and the valley was in the triple digits, so when we arrived in Marro Bay the late afternoon, we needed a great room and that is exactly what we found.

Rick at the front desk was super. We got into our room, the Bay View Suite, had a quick shower and before long my wife was outside on a paddle board, which she rented from the onsite rental office. After a 30 minute paddle, Rick offered us the use (free) of a double open ocean kayak and my wife and I spent the better part of the rest of the evening paddling around the Bay, taking pictures of the seals, pelicans and the wildlife around the bay.

The room was wonderful, however it was kayaking along the Bay on a warm, clear and calm August evening that remain a highlight for years to come.

There is a steady stream of boats and other marine traffic which makes sitting out on the deck very pleasant. And the hotel is only a short walk back into town were there several good places to sit and enjoy drinks and meal overlooking the bay.

We love the fresh ocean air, but we needed to close the windows at night as the seals on the nearby dock seemed to sleep during the day, but remained rather active all evening.

Room Tip: The Bay View Suite is up a short flight of stairs on the second floor on the bay side of the hotel...

Hands down the best place we have stayed during our 3 weeks in the US. Warm welcome on arrival and friendly advice on dining options. Received an upgrade to a fireplace suite, beautiful room and view. The attention to detail was amazing, folded towels and even a boat folded on the toilet paper :-) Really comfy beds and Wi-Fi is excellent.
Pity we only had one night here on our way down to LA. Hope to return one day and enjoy again !

Our room was beautiful, but maybe a little small. It was very cozy and clean. We had a small balcony that looked out into the bay. You could hear the seals barking at night and it was very peaceful. Overall it was a very comfortable room and the location was great. Staying here really made our trip to Morro Bay special.

We had a suite for 5 persons, very large and comfortable with a large bathroom. Location just by the water with an excellent view. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast! Nice fireplace in the room and very cosy!

What a brilliant find Estero Inn was! Me and my wife were in the US for 3 weeks earlier this year and one section was driving from San Francisco to LA but there was no way we were going to try and do it in just one day. So we headed to Google Maps and found this little place called Morro Bay just about halfway down the coast and after a quick look on here booked in with Estero Inn - a perfect choice!

We arrived a bit later than expected that night and reception was still open to check us in after making a call to let them know. It was a foggy night and when we stepped in the room it was the perfect setup with a nice cosy feel (not in a cramped way!) with the fireplace to the side and our little balcony looking over the bay. The room was brilliant with a good size bathroom and thankfully the Chinese restaurant across the road was still open for a quick dinner - highly recommend!

It was a shame we missed the sunset but we still woke to a great view across the bay along with heading downstairs for breakfast which was all set out nicely and like a mini buffet. Thanks again for such a great stay!

Good stop off to explore Hearst Castle to the north and San Luis Obispo to the south.

We stayed in the Marine Suite which is on the ground floor and looks out over the harbor and the Rock both of which you can see without even getting out of bed! The ground floor location bothered us as there is narrow public walkway between the room and the water, however, the windows are fully reflective so your privacy is secured whilst enjoying views of a lifetime as the Rock changes color from sunrise through to sunset. Wheel chair accessible on ground floor rooms.

Large room with futon and spare bed if required. Large shower room and adjacent walk-in closet. Free wi-fi and breakfast included. Breakfast room opposite with its own sunny seating area; loved the easy to use Belgian waffle maker. Hotel parking immediately adjacent - like 20 feet from the room!

Good local restaurants especially the superb Windows on the Water.

Room Tip: Sea view for the Rock is a MUST - Lower Deck: Marine Suite or Kelp Forest Suite; Upper deck - Sunset...
