“Lovely view, convenient, pleasant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

5 nights this Fall at this non-smoking hotel were comfortable and a good value. We recommend. The 3rd floor room was spacious with all the amenities, from a very comfortable bed to excellent water pressure in the shower, a balcony with a view of the Morro rock. The gas fireplace fortunately was not needed nor were the small fridge and microwave with the generous continental breakfast. The decor was nondescript but the vintage black & white photo of abalone divers was interesting and fitting for this former fishing village. Except for the barking of the seals across the street and the fog horn it was quiet.

Room Tip: 3rd floor for best view of harbor and rock.

Beautiful bay view. Nice rooms. Loved the cozy fireplace. Nice people. Would definitely stay there again. Walk down the street to the quaint little shops and dinning establishments. Reasonably priced. Wish we would have planned for ore time in this little gem!

We have stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Short walk to great restaurants, and if you like Chinese, the Golden China restaurant next door has great food and a wonderful buffet. There is also a family suite that is like a small apartment, which our nephew and his family has stayed in- and it is moderately priced. You'll like this place! Oh, and we also liked the Fish Bonez restaurant (suggested y the desk clerk) which is a short 2 blocks away.

Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants along the bay. The outside is average but the room was very nicely appointed and very clean with good linens. Fireplace was not working but front desk fixed it very quickly. King bed with great mattress- slept well, area quiet at night. View to the bay from room a bit obscured by buildings and fog. Hot tub was a nice touch at the end of the day. Breakfast was good but in a small room. Parking is underneath the hotel and was convenient. Would stay here again!

Comfy room, fresh cookies and coffee at check in, nice jacuzzi area, breakfast included, underground parking. We arrived on motorcycles and loved the underground parking since it was getting dewy. Hotel is great location for walking the town. The breakfast area is small. Bathroom needs a fan for the shower, floor got slippery.

This is our third stay at the Embarcadero Inn in Morro Bay. The facility is ultra clean. It is in a superb location along the waterfront. The rooms are large and well laid out. The beds are excellent for us. Overall an excellent stop and we will come back. Note, stay away from the room 306 as it is right next door to the breakfast room which does not allow for a late morning sleep!!

we arrived in morro bay on sunday sept. 29,and walked into the embarcadero and was greeted by a young lady at the front desk by the name of emily. we were on a budget so price was a great consideration, emily told us about the features of the hotel from the nicely appointed and comfortable rooms, to a very nice continental breakfast. she was spot on, the room was fabulous and the breakfast was great all that without breaking the bank. covered parking on site so all you do is walk out of the inn and you are on the the wharf. she conviniced us this was the place to stay,so we did and we will be back! emily was very proficient and a assset to the embarcadero. wally and grete

Room Tip: yes 309 and 306 have nice views
