There was not any kind of counter in the bathroom to hold shaving gear, Personal item, etc. There was only a toilet, shower and sink. This make it almost inpossible to complete any personal hygiene and was very very inconvient.

The room itsel was clean and cool and was appreciated in the hot month of july. There was no coffee maker in the room.

I agree that the online statement said there would be a cancellation fee which I checked online after returning home but I thought that giving them 24 hours notice would exempt me from any cancellation of the 2nd day. I still think this is wrong and because of this and the bathroom deficency have decided not to use Microtel any more.

room was on second floor - the floors are so thin - it sounds like they are going to crash down from the third floor - we were not able to sleep even with ear stoppers in our ears. people were slamming doors from midnight to daylight - room, hallways were dirty - floor had paper and dirt on the carpet. asked to be moved up to third floor - they told me no rooms - yet later in the evening - a family was on the elevator after checking in and going to a room on third floor. hotel needs some major repair - carpet was torn on the elevator and in places in the hallways. I do not recommend this hotel for families or business travelers - I am asking my employer to put this hotel on the no booking list.

We stayed at this hotel one night, after driving a long distance, and we just needed a place to rest. I was happily surprised, as I had never stayed at a Microtel before. It was clean, spacious,quiet, and was a nice room for what we payed. We had no problems. It had a free continental breakfast, and check out was noon. I was happy with it for the price we payed($79). Front desk guy was a bit stiff, and could work on his customer service skills. but the girl we dealt with upon check out was great! Would recommend this hotel if looking for a clean, budget type room, but not for a vacation room.

We are another soccer family confirming that the Microtel in Morgan Hill is a good place to stay.

Located across from the fields, the Microtel is situated very well. We stayed in a "suite" (the name is much grander than the room) which had a queen bed and a pull-out sofa seperated by a small kitchen counter. Don't expect mom & dad privacy here! But for the low price (check into group rates if you are looking for a team) and advantage of a microwave and refridgerator, it's a deal.

The other great things about the rooms are the windowseats, wireless internet connections, and continental breakfast.

Inexpensive, clean, very friendly.
