My husband, Trevor, and I had an "empty nest" syndrome, kids (they're never adults to us) have flown the coop, so we decided to take a trip only for us. We deny being romantics but surreptiously we booked a room at the Ramada Morgan Hill because of its facade, it looks like a castle! It is absolutely breath-taking coming off of the I-101. My husband commented that he hadnt seen me smile like that in ages. The big lobby doors swung wide open and we were greeted by a lady named Tracey with a warm "Hello, how are you?" and a beautiful accent. Needless to say, we got to talking, and when we told her about our so-called romantic-trip-for-two only, she insisted on upgrading us to a suite. We were shocked! It's not every day we get to be treated like royalty. Our check-in was quick, our suite was even more beautiful than we expected. Absolutely eye-pleasing furnishings, everything was perfect. Bear in mind we were supposed to be low-key pseudo romantics and were not trumpeting our presence. The view from our suite was unbelievable, the backdrop was the mountains, the warm breeze, everything contributed to make us hungry. We went downstairs and we didnt have to look far for this Miss Tracey and she recommended a very nice restaurant just down the road. We dined and then we came back to the Ramada and decided to lounge by the pool. Trevor and I had a couple of "sweet somethings", that's what I called the drinks from the bar which is right next to the pool area. We went back to our suite to rest and the next day we visited the Bonfante Gardens and (needless to say) the Gilroy Premium Outlets. To cut a long story short, we only stayed two nights at the Ramada Morgan Hill and we should have booked for a longer stay. This time my sister is expecting us in San Fran and we had to leave. I was telling my husband Trevor that we must stay here again on our way back from San Fran. And that's what we did: We booked for a return when we return from San Fran, and the wonderful reception we got, the speedy delivery of the extra pillows, the beautiful lobby, everything was perfect!
