There was some other person's long hair left in the shower and several from the lower extremities left on the toilet seat when we arrived to the room. I cleaned the bathroom with Clorox wipes because it felt dirty.

Front desk person offered to move us to another room but it was late, we were tired, and wanted to go to sleep and get going early in the morning. They did not offer to have it cleaned again.

Front desk staff person was nice at check in but the a.m. staff person was reluctant and acted put out (she was surfing Craig's List after all) to help my husband send a fax re: a business matter he had to take care of.

Breakfast is nice they have internet in the lobby but nothing at all in the rooms.

Rooms have scratchy linens, foamy blankets, thin pillows, and thin/small towels in bathroom. Couch was lumpy/soft with no support. Furniture on the small balcony was dusty, had mildew and spider webs w/spiders on it, so I enjoyed the balcony without sitting on any furniture.

Normally I stay in San Jose, but with the FREE Shuttle to the Airport & the Gilroy Outlets, its perfect for all the locations I must visit as a Regonal Manager. I can have business meetings catered at the Hotel, and the rooms are extra large for 1 on 1 visits. I found their house wine from a local winery to be better than what I could buy at the store. This place is a class act.

I arrived at the hotel frazzled and desperate, needing a safe place to stay until I could find a suitable home to rent. I had to leave my home for safety reasons and arrived with two little ones in tow. Having been an at-home Mom for 18 years, no one in town would give me a short-term rental without a copy of a pay check stub or court-ordered support. I found an affordable, comfortable safe-haven with the friendly staff at the Ramada.

The accomodations are spacious and clean. There are so many choices of different types of rooms, but we enjoyed the king & twin sleeper combo with microwave and sink. The breakfast is very good. There is always a choice of eggs and meat, fresh fruit juices, hot and cold cereals, fresh fruit, bagels & cream cheese, yogurt, toast, and surprises like muffins, donuts, rice crispie treats or breakfast bars. There is a Safeway and Trader Joe's nearby with several delicious microwaveable options for lunch/dinner if you're watching your budget.

The security cameras, multiple door looks, computerized entry cards and extra locks on the windows helped me feel safe, and the staff was absolutely amazing. They were very vigilant about preserving my privacy.

The internet connection was more than adequate. A few times, I apprieciated the comfortable lounge and public seating areas for business meetings and socializing outside of our room. A big plus for us families with children: the aquatic center is directly across the street, as is one of the largest soccer field complexes in California.

Within a few days, the staff knew us by name and cared for us as if we were family. They welcomed us with excitement each morning. They comforted and encouraged me through my grief and we rejoiced together when blessings came my way. I will always remember them with gratitude for how they helped me heal and learn to trust again.

The quiet and the view made it a very peaceful experience for us. I found the management team very open to comments. Any concerns were taken care of very promptly, usually beyond my expectations. I hesitate to single anyone out, because everyone from the manager, to the head of housekeeping, to the nightwatch, was so warm.

I stayed at the Ramada after reading reviews on Tripadvisor.com. I booked throught the hotel's website and saved money over Exxxxx.com and such!
The lobby was very pretty and well maintained. There's a bar and breakfast area to relax in, a pool and spa off the back of the hotel that looked very inviting. Danny was working at the desk when I checked in and he was just the person to chat with after a long day at work--very funny and able to give me directions for several good dining options. He even noted that I was a female travelling solo and booked me into a part of the hotel that was easier for the staff to monitor! The room was great, really, REALLY clean and comfortable, and quiet. The bed was a little too comfortable, and I was almost late to work the next day...The next time I need to stay in Morgan Hill/Gilroy/south San Jose, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in the Ramada. I'll just have remember my swimsuit to enjoy that pool!
