“Osho is "Oishii"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

"Oishii" is delish in Japanese, in case you were wondering. Four of us went for lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed our combo meals. We are not big sushi eaters but Osho had a great combo meal for us. I got the salmon and shrimp tempura and the rest go the teriyaki beef/tempura. The meal came beautifully prepared on large plate with the main entrees as well as salad (the mayo dressing was good!), rice, a potato croquette, a salad of seaweed and these Japanese beans. The tempura was crispy and light and the salmon was perfect. Lunch seems to be a better deal - the prices are higher at dinner. There are 2 tatami mat, private rooms in the back for larger parties also. Would definitely go back again!

“Food very good; prices are awesome; staff is friendl”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

Why do we always need to be in such a hurry? We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, and the food arrived in a reasonable time. The food was very good and the portions were just right. We ended going there 5 nights in a row, as we liked the green tea noodles (cold noodles - perfect on a hot day) and chicken karaage. I was so glad to find they had the cold noodles, as that is my favourite summer meal. The prices were also great, very friendly on our wallet. We liked the decor and the staff were very pleasant and strived to please. I highly recommend it.

“No hurries here so admire decor and wait patiently!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

First time so admired wall hangings, noticed blackboard specials, glanced at sushi bar, and got comfortable in a booth with a rock-finished tabletop. A varied menu offered a selection of sushi, noodles, appetizers and combinations.

Not crowded for dinner hour so expected quick service, but not here. Once orders were finally taken, our appetizer and dinners didn't take long to arrive. The nabeyaki and beef udons came out piping hot and the cold noodle/tempura combo and the broiled saba (no rice tho) were nicely presented!

All in all, everyone enjoyed a satisfying meal. Son raved about the thick cuts of beef in his udon as most places serve paper thin slices, but wasn't thrilled with all the vegetables, naturally!

Tip: if not in a hurry, this place will suit you fine. Only other issue, they didn't have my first two choices, thus three stars.....otherwise, worth a visit.

“Ohso Sushi should be renamed Oh So Slow Sushi”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2006

Tried Osho Sushi this evening with my family. It should be named Oh-So-Slow Sushi. The food was good, but overall the food preparation and service needs improvement. The food did not come out all at once. There were 3 of us and after I received my combination dinner first, the next family member received her combination dinner in 15 minutes and finally the last family member received his in 20 minutes. If you like good food and can tolerate the long wait then be my guest at Osho. Other than that, don't count on us coming back. We value good service as well as good food. There's plenty of other Japanese restaurants with good food and excellent service!
