Everything was excellent and exceeded our expectation. The location is perfect and the prices are fair. Everything in the room worked perfectly. Air, water temperature, TV was super huge and was really like a home theater set up. Great wet bar and night tables next to the bed.

We have stayed at this small hotel many times and have never been disappointed. It's a short walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and many fine restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and having breakfast delivered to our room is delightful.

the Montery Bay Inn does have it all...great rooms - large and nicely decorated, very large bathrooms, balconies with fabulous ocean/shoreline views. To add the icing to the cake - breakfast delivered to the room! We've stayed in several hotels in Monterey both close to the conference centre and to Cannery Row. This was our first stay at the Montery Bay Inn and we'll be sure to choose this one for our next trip. Its close to the aquarium, great restaurants and a nice walk from the conference centre.

Monterey Bay Inn was the perfect location for our Anniversary weekend getaway. It is 1/2 mile to the Aquarium, passing Cannery Row along the way and 1/2 mile the other direction to Fisherman's Wharf. Everything we needed was in walking distance, including grocery just beyond the Aquarium. Don't miss LouLou's for breakfast, a cute/quaint little place with great atmosphere!

There is a fountain in the park that runs, which we thought would hinder our ability to hear the ocean waves coming in and out. However; it is turned off at 8pm-8am, so we were okay with that. The entry doors are heavy and slam often if not guided closed, that was the only fault we found.
