This hotel is great for the money. My wife and I wanted a nice weekend getaway and we booked the motel the day we left to go to Monterey. I booked the room through Best Western online and was able to request a top floor room. We didn't get to the hotel until about midnight, but check-in was great, it only took about 5 minutes. Once checked in we went to our room which was room 301 and we were imediately happy with it. Not only was the room on the top floor it was also a corner room at the end of the hall so there was plenty of privacy and the whole stay was very quite. Breakfast was simple (donoughts, bagels, cereal, and juice), but that was fine with us since we don't eat much for breakfast anyway. We stayed 2 nights and both nights were great. The bed was comfortable, the shower worked great and everything was very clean. When we went to check-out it went as smoothly as when we checked-in, it only took a few minutes. The only complaint I had durring the whole stay was the heating. The heater is just a small wall unit and it took a little while to heat up the room. We did stay there durring January while it was very cold so I am sure that made a difference. The heating just took a little planning. When we got up, we turned on the heater and by the time we got out of the shower the room was plenty warm enough to get dressed in. When we go back to Monterey we will deffinatly stay in this hotel again and we will reccommend it to anyone that is going there.
