Delicious food and very authentic. The falafel was the best I have ever had. Crunchy on the outside but super moist on the inside-ab solutely perfect!

“Finest mediterranean food in the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2014

Read about this family owned restaurant on Yelp and decided to lunch there. This place has a quaint feel and the owners are warm and helpful and friendly. I asked for freshly made lemonade and it took 10 minutes to be ready and when it was, it was the best lemonade I had ever had. The falafels were fresh and tasty and the husband's chicken kebab dish was great as well. The baklava was delicious in every bite. Its very small so about 10 people can sit at the same time but do go here for some awesomely homely food.

“The best spanakopita!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2014

We found this restaurant while visiting Monterey and agree with all the good reviews below. The owner makes all the food for the last 20 years. I especially liked the spanakopita. All the food had great flavor and there were plenty of vegetarian options available. I agree with other reviewers that this place is better for small parties, there is not a lot of seating.

“Yum”

What a small homey spot. The food was amazing and the gentlemen was so kind. Not great for big groups but I still loved that I came here with my wife. (^__^)

“Worth the wait!”

The best I've had at a restaurant. Tasted homemade. I met the owner at the farmers market before trying the restaurant. Really nice guy.
