This NEW Children's Play Museum IS OPEN...the previous reviewer must have gone to the old address on Cannery Row. The NEW FABULOUS location is 425 Washington Street, downtown Monterey, just up Washington Street from Fisherman's Wharf. We have gone back with our children several times now and they always find new and fun things to do. Our daughter LOVES the Creation Station, a cool craft area and the boys can't get enough of playing with the tractor and balls in the Agriculture area. They love "driving" the real ambulance, being carpenters in the Build-a-House, and performing on the Theater stage. Oh, they love playing miniature golf too! It is so much fun that they are begging us to go again and they all want to have their birthday parties there (great party room and goodie bags!) I highly recommend this terrific family activity in Monterey!

Just spent another week in Monterey and went to MY Museum...IT'S NOT CLOSED! It moved to this great new location in downtown Monterey!

Their new place is AMAZING! My son loved the fire engine, ambulance and hospital! And my daughter lived in the agriculture area playing with this awesome ball machine that makes it rain produce! This place is a children's Mecca!

Make sure you plan at least a half day to visit this really cool place, we went and played and then grabbed lunch...it's in a really family friendly neighborhood, with lots of great restaurants! After lunch my kids wanted to go back and spend the afternoon...that just tells you how much they LOVED IT!

Took my son to MY Museum and had a blast. We thought we would stay for an hour and spent the whole afternoon. His favorite exhibits were the boat, make-believe restaurant and craft area. We will definitely go back the next time we are on Cannery Row... he loved it!
