Only stayed one night here as a spring board to Big Sur.We found the front desk very helpful (sent us to Monterrey Fish House) The room was fine for the night. The layout is spread out with the modules of 2-3 floor structures which could be a drag(literally if you have a lot of luggage).Got here later in the day and left early the next morning so we couldn't appreciate the grounds much.Nice fire pit in the lobby/bar area which we chilled by with a drink.

Room Tip: We were facing the golf course ,it was nice and quiet.

My spouse, 3 year-old daughter and self, booked the Explorer's package which includes Two Two-day passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and two buffet breakfasts. We checked in at 11am on our day of arrival to pick up our aquarium tickets. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Quick and easy pit stop.

We didn't get to our room till after dinner. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The bed was super-comfy. They included a tube of toothpaste, which we always forget, and a shower mat, which we usually have to call for. Although we had a room facing the parking lot, we didn't have any issues with noises from the parking lot or our neighbors.

The buffet breakfast we delicious. It included lox, omlet station, waffles, yummy pastries and your other standard breakfast fare like bacon, sasauges, eggs, bagels, etc. My spouse especially enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juce.

Would definitely visit again!

This hotel, is not really a hotel, but instead, a long, low slung collection of spacious rooms, spread over 22 lush acres on the verge of Highway 1 and the center stage on-premise golf course. The meandering units are connected by corridors of trellises and an endless stream of friendly attendant piloted carts. Relaxed, unpretentious and uncomplicated, this haven of hospitality, halfway between golf course condos and motel rooms, is welcoming and easy to handle. The best part is the wine tasting bar, where you can enjoy some local wines from Cambiata and McIntyre: the Chardonnay and Pinot are worth taking back to the room. Order room service, as it's reliable and efficient.

The décor makes the rooms feel more like a hotel than a motel, with graciously-shaped square sinks, limestone tiled baths, frosted glass doors, backlit mirrors, cozy linens on comfy beds, spacious areas for both work and relaxation, flat screen tv, in room fridge and my fave, separate telescoping reading lights on both sides of the bed. (The only downside is lack of decent lighting in the bathroom, including a nightlight. Why do so many hotels forget that their guests don’t live there full time?)

The Accista Spa has a full complement of great services, including regional specialties, imbued with local fragrances and ingredients. Same for the food: go for the local offerings.

Room Tip: Since the hotel is set on a golf course, get a room on the top floor of the buildings set alongside...

Lovely property...our quiet double room overlooked the pool, spa and fire pit area. Very clean and new looking bathroom and comfy beds. Had no problem when requesting more glasses and towels. Room service was a bit pricey the following morning, which is to be expected...but good nonetheless. Great workout room as well.

we have stayed here couple of times and had good time except last time when inspite of booking a room with king bed we got two single beds :( they were overbooked

service - something urgent came up and we needed to print couple of pages and they charged $10/page for self operated machine.

Room Tip: if you reach in late evening you might not get what you booked in their busy weekend...so arrive at...

It was okay for what it was, I guess, and perhaps had we come at a more opportune time it would have been a bit better. That said I probably could have gotten a better feel from a Best Western. The complementary stuff came with an incidental charge, and a lot of the on site amenities were at the other end of the property. The room was like at any other hotel. Just more modern.
